OMG! You guys! I watched "BLUSH: The Search for the Next Great Make-Up Artist" last night. It's on Lifetime (Tuesdays at 10pm) & what a HOOT! These contestants are the most f*cked up I've seen in a long time. There's one big, burly, straight guy and he's the one who looks out of place. The "star" of the show is "Maxi". He's an albino version of all the drama queens you've ever seen, & he wears costumes. He looked like Johnny Depp's 'Willie Wonka' when he was first introduced & had on this elaborate mask for the judging portion of the show. I'm afraid he's gonna get voted off early because he's such an asshole, thinking he's better than everbody else! This is definitely a "Check it Out" show.

Wow.

CHA$E" on SciFi (also Tuesdays at 10pm), is not nearly as much fun as "BLUSH". In fact, it's kinda lame. I thought this would be a nice switch on reality shows, but the silly graphics, trying to make us think that the "hunters", chasing after the contenders, are 'Terminator' type robots is just plain dumb. I'm totally disappointed. Did anyone else watch either of these two shows?

"Top Chef", last night on BRAVO, was everything it's suppose to be. The first 'quick challenge' turned into 3 challenges in one, just so they could get rid of cheftestant #17 & we could start out with an even number of 16. Chef Tom commented at the end of the show, that this is going to be one tough season because all these chef's CAN cook. Padma looked stunning too. One warning, lots of heavy accented contestants, so be prepared to read lots of sub-titles. Ah, it keep you up on your reading skills! (I have to pause the show, to read them).

We have a "Series Debut" tonight. The TRAVEL Channel is airing a new show at 10pm. ""Vegas Revolution" is all about the behind-the-scenes workings of the 'Sin City'. At least that's what the promo says. Do you think they are going to give us tips on scoring a 'high-end' hooker or how to steal chips from drunken gamblers. Maybe they show us ways to avoid getting food poisoning from the 'prime rub' buffets. The first episode is "The Suite Life". This must tell us how to keep our stuff from being stolen by the maids & just what we need to do to not catch a venereal disease from the bedspreads. (always pack a 'blue light')

Here's what's happening on the other networks. Still alot of new episodes. We won't fall into "repeat hell" till around the holidays. Enjoy it while you can.

ABC:
"Ugly Betty" at 8pm. (new) Do you think Betty will ever 'bop' Daniel?

"Life on Mars" at 10pm. (new) I hear that ABC is going to move this show to Wednesday's in January to be a companion to "LOST".

"Survivor: Gabon" at 8pm. (new) Go Kenny! Go Kenny! Go Kenny! My prediction: Charlie asks to be voted out, so he can go be with Marcus at the 'Ponderosa'.
"CSI" at 9pm. (new) Still the #1 drama in the ratings, even though the 'People's Choice' ignored that fact.
"Eleventh Hour" at 10pm. (new) My commenters (pixielated & cattyfan) have given this show a "thumbs up".

NBC:
"My Name is Earl" at 8pm. (new)
"Kath & Kim" at 8:30pm. (new) GET OFF MY TV!!!
"The Office" at 9pm. (new)
"30 Rock" at 9:30. (new) Jennifer Aniston is visiting Tina this week. Will they kiss?
"ER" at 10pm. (new) Dr. Greene comes back from the dead. Hurray!! His resurrection can only help this pack of boring characters.
