With the "Farewell to TRL", the loss of 60 lbs for "Ruby", the return of "Orangutan Island", & "Dexter" teaming up with his new BFF, to slice & dice, I just don't know where to start. This is one diverse Sunday night & I can't wait to jump right to it........
With all that's been cancelled this week, it's good to see there are some monkeys who still know how to give good show.
MTV:
"Total Final Live" at 8pm. MTV says farewell to one of it's longest running shows. "TRL". It was the post popular show in the late 90's, for all the teenagers, after school. It launched the careers of the Backstreet Boys, 'Nsync, & Britney Spears. Carson Daly will join Damien Fahey as host of tonight's show with a look back at some of the most memorable moments in TRL history. Music from 50 Cent, Beyonce (Sasha Fierce), Mariah, Diddy (Daddy?), Fred Durst, & Korn, to name a few. This is definitely a "Check it out!"
"The Britney Collection" follows at 10:30pm. (new) It's all about her fans & their unending love for Ms. Spears. Include me too!

"True Blood" at 9pm. (new) Self-righteous Sookie is starting to get a tad uppity. Hope Tara knocks that space between her teeth back together.

I was so confused by the photo paired with the introduction. Ruby is the baby orangutan born at the St. Louis zoo a few summers ago. (I have pictures of her when she was just a few months old.) I was initially trying to figure out why an orangutan would want to lose 60 pounds. Then I (unlike so many Amazing Race contestants) took a few seconds to re-read the paragraph. Now it makes more sense.
The Unit was fantastic tonight. Hope you Tivo'd it.
Did anyone see the Jeff Dunham Christmas show? I saw him live a few months ago. He was practicing some of the bits...with Achmed in a Santa hat. Hilarious! But I don't have cable...let me know if I should buy the DVD.
