CMT's airing "Larry the Cable Guy's Star-Studded Christmas Extravaganza" at 9pm. Larry has his buddies Jeff Foxworthy & Bill Engval helping him celebrate a homestyle trailer trash holiday. He's also got Ross the Intern, Tony Orlando & Fred Willard. That Fred is on TV all the time!!! There will probably be nuts roasting on an open fire but don't expect chestnuts, more like pig nuts. Let's jump in with both feet........
There is so much happening and so many things I need to say, I just don't know where to begin. I'll start with how pissed I am at ABC. Those bastards have cancelled "Eli Stone", "Dirty, Sexy Money" & (as we already know) "Pushing Daisies". I'm a new fan of "Eli". I was just getting into the singing, the dancing, the visions, the tumor, & the ass kissing. It was fun & now it's gonna be gone! "Dirty Sexy Money" was just that, dirty, sexy & all about money. Blair Underwood is the sexiest man on TV & damn good at being an evil bastard. They finally got him off of "Old Christine" and into a hot, stanky role & then they pull the rug out. Now I'll never know if that's Donald Sutherland's real hair. This is all just total bullshit! Oh, and "Daisies" ends it's 13th & final episode with a cliffhanger. The producers are hoping to solve that little diddy in a comic book! I'm not making this shit up.
CW (as predicted) has wiped out it's Sunday night schedule. No more "In Harm's Way", Valentine" or "Easy Money". All in the trash. They will be replaced by reruns of "Jericho" at 7pm, followed by a movie at 8pm. I think this starts immediately. No final farewell at all.
Ok, I need to go to my happy place & right now that would be Thursday night's awesome TV. I was blown away by every show I watched, starting with "Survivor". After all these seasons, this veteran reality show is still bringing it ON! Tribal Council has been entertaining us for the last 3 weeks & last night was the icing on the cake! Randy got his ass handed to him on a platter while everyone giggled like school girls. I don't have a clue how all this is gonna end, but I can guarantee it's going to be fun!
"CSI' & "Ugly Betty" were both top notch episodes, each in their own way.
"Ugly Betty's" characters are becoming less & less cartoonish this season, bringing in more of the 'telenovela' aspect of the show. I still love the way the camera zooms in on Wilhelmina's bodacious ass though & the fact that Betty's still wearing braces after 3 years.
"CSI" has continued to keep us all watching even with the loss of two of their main players. The newbies fit in well because the stories are so f*cking good. You can see that they are gearing up for Grissom's departure by last night's storyline. He's got the hots for the 'miniature murderer'.
The most "Oh my God!" show of the night was definitely "Life on Mars"! This episode had me all twisted up. Sam's dad and the way that shit played out had me guessing the whole hour & when it ended, I had a "WTF' moment! The worst part is, we won't get a clue till January 28th, when it follows the season premiere of "LOST". This is what makes good TV to me. It sucks me in for the whole hour & leaves me wanting more.
I need to get down to business now. There's alot going on tonight. For a Friday, it's pretty good stuff. Let's get started:
ABC:
"Wife Swap" at 8pm (new) 9 kids vs 1 kid.
"Supernanny" at 9pm. (new)
"20/20" at10pm. (new) Ashley Dupre, the slut who de-throned Gov. Eliot Spitzer from NY, is interviewed about all the sex they had.
CBS:
"Ghost Whisperer" at 8pm. (new) My family made me watch this show. I just get interested & they kill off GW's hubby. It was awful. He wouldn't go into the light. He's been following her around instead. Now he's jumped his ass into a fresh dead guy and is back, but doesn't know it. He has amnesia. He needs to talk to Samantha Who.
"The Mentalist" at 9pm. (repeat) If you've never seen this show, nows a good time. Simon Baker's smile makes it worth it.
"NUMB3RS" at 10pm. (new) A train wreck, literally.

Of course I'll be watching Ghost Whisperer...Still cant believe they killed off the hubby!!! CBS you need to make this right! Maybe contact Stephen King and he can do a version of Pet Cemetary to bring him back! Wish just once you and I could watch "Dont forget the Lyrics" together, Chooch...Would be interesting seeing as how we both would insist we're right!!! Remember doing that as kids..Stay warm, Sis
