Last week "The Mentalist" hit the #1 spot. We have another upset again this week! Can you guess what made the top spot this week? I have the answer, after the JUMP..........
Mr. Nielson has delivered his weekly list of 'most popular' TV shows & the Jocks have won a great victory. Here are the Top Twenty for the week of Dec.7th -14th.
Wow. what a difference a week makes! CBS & ABC, both, aired quite a few repeats during the week, so that gave NBC a much needed boost, but CBS is still on top of the heap with 15 shows on the list including all three of it's CSI shows. Their Monday night line-up of sitcoms all made the grade too. Charlie was not alone.
1. Sunday Night Football (23.1mil) NY Giants loss to the Dallas Cowboys was the most viewed ever for "Sunday Night Football'.
2. CSI (20.9mil) Cowboy Curtis packed in the viewers with a great storyline.
3. 60 Minutes (18.8mil) Still in the Top Ten & the elections are over.
4. Two and a Half Men (15.6mil) Way to go Charlie, way to go!
5. Criminal Minds (14.7mil) People love serial killers on the loose.
6. House (14.1mil) You don't think it's because of the "Cuddy-Love" do ya?
7. CSI: Miami (13.8mil) Still a favorite.
8. Survivor: Gabon finale (13.8mil) Thirteen million people saw Corinne be the biggest asshole ever.
9. The Mentalist (13.7mil) Sorry Simon, you'll be back in the top 5 next week.
10. NCIS (13.7mil) Damn, forgot to watch it again.
11. Eleventh Hour (13.4mil) New show #2 is creeping up the ladder.
12. CSI: NY (13.3mil) Gary Sinise will never go back to movies.
13. Survivor: Gabon (13mil) Waiting for Bob to make another idol.
14. Survivor: Gabon Reunion (11.7mil) Almost as many people got to see Corinne be a total ass once again. I bet her parents are proud.
15. Charlie Brown Christmas (11mil) The Classics keep scoring. ABC aired it again last night.
16. Law & Order: SVU (11mil) NBC has another one on the list.
17. The Big Bang Theory (10.5mil) Sheldon & Leonard finally get some recognition.
18. How I Met Your Mother (10.5mil) Will we ever find out how he did meet their mother?
19. Worst Week (10.4mil) And ABC has been thinking about cancellation on this one. Maybe not anymore.
20. Boston Legal (9.9mil) Big series finale finally got them on the list
Let's move on to tonight's list of wannabe's.
BRAVO's "Top Chef" at 10pm, has a surprise appearance by the one & only Martha Stewart! She will be judging the cheftestants on their Holiday Quick-fire challenge. The sad part is, she won't be the guest judge this week. They've got somebody named Natasha Richardson for that. WTF? We want Martha! I'm hoping for a double elimination tonight, to weed out some of these cooks. Just too many in the kitchen.
A&E airs the season finale of "Parking Wars" at 10pm. This is a reality show near & dear to my heart. I have praised it before. The insanity of the people & the parking authority in Philadelphia is the best. Between ticketing, booting, towing & the impound lot, Philly makes alot of money & the parking offenders go into total melt-downs as they try to get their car back. Priceless!
ABC:
"Pushing Daisies" at 8pm. (new) This is ep. #10. The final 3 episodes will air all together on one night around the second week of January.
"Private Practice" at 9pm. (new)
"Dirty Sexy Money" at 10pm. (new)
CBS:
"New Adventures of Old Christine" at 8pm. (new)
"Gary Unmarried" at 8:30pm. (new)
"Criminal Minds" at 9pm. (new) Faith Ford guest stars. The serial killer of the week is "Road Warrior". He only kills people in Cadillacs. (whew! I'm safe.)
"CSI: NY" at 10pm. (new)
NBC:
"Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa" at 8pm. (special)
"Life" at 9pm. (new)
"Law & Order" at 10pm. (new)
FOX:
"Secret Millionaire" at 8pm. (new) Stupid show. (IMO)
"Bones" at 9pm. (repeat)
CW:

The Mentalist was a repeat last week. I'm sure it'll be much higher next week. :) And I think Big Bang Theory was a repeat as well. That's still awesome though. This week's show was hilarious!
