Now let's take a look at what's on tonight.
VH1 has "The 14th Annual Critic's Choice Awards" at 9pm. Richard Gere will receive the "Joel Sege lAward' presented by Diane Lane. Other presenters tonight are Kate Beckinsale, Josh Brolin, Marisa Tomei, Dustin Hoffman, Amy Adams, Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Banks, Angela Bassett, Kristen Bell, Ludacris, Common, Laura Dern, Sally Hawkins, Brendan Fraser, Sarah Silverman, Ben Stiller and Eva Longoria. This show promises to be way more glamorous & star studded than the one on last night.
I'm not sure I'm ready for another awards show after watching that bomb "The People's Choice Awards". I wanted to stuff a smelly, old sock in Queen Latifah's mouth. She was soooo annoying. The whole show felt cheap. They had a clip of alot of the winners! How f*cking pathetic is that? There was no glamour & definitely no big movie stars. They all opted to stay away. I don't blame them. This was a joke. I think the writer's strike did us a favor last year, except we still had to put up with Queen Latifah. Best part of the whole night: "I LOVE you Ducky!" when Jon Cryer came out to present an award. His reaction was priceless. He couldn't remember what he was out there for.
SOAPNet has a new series beginnning tonight at 10pm. "Greg Behrendt's Wake-Up Call" has this comedian posing as a relationship guru for couples. Tonight's opener will have him listening to a rich bitch complain that her fiance' isn't more successful & may not be able to keep her in the lifestyle she's accustomed to. Sounds hilarious!
ABC is running all NEW episodes of their Thursday line-up with one exception. "Private Practice" has taken over the 10pm slot, moving from Wednesday's at 9pm. This replaces "Life on Mars" which, when it returns, will follow "LOST" on Wednesday nights.
"Ugly Betty" at 8pm. Guest star Bernadette Peters & Nikki Blonsky. Robbie Meyers & Joe Zee, editors of ELLE magazine also appear.
"Grey's Anatomy" at 9pm.
"Private Practice" at 10pm.
NBC is running it's Thursday night comedy block. All- new shows, except "The Office", which is a repeat. "ER" is all-new at 10pm. Still no sign of Carter. I've heard these ugly rumors that "Kath & Kim", the best comedy match-up since Lucy & Ethel, may be getting cancelled! I was shocked. How can a show that was just up for a Golden Globe award be on the chopping block. Please, start writing protest letters to NBC now. Together we can save one of the greatest comedies to ever air on network TV.
"My Name is Earl" at 8pm.
"Kath & Kim" at 8:30pm.
"The Office" at 9pm. (repeat)
"30 Rock" at 9:30pm. Salma Hayak & Sheri Shepard are guest stars tonight.
"ER" at 10pm.
FOX has the "BCS Championship Game" at 8:15pm. Oklahoma (12-1) v. Florida (12-1) for the national title. Oklahoma has failed to win the last 4 BCS Bowl games.
