The second season of Breaking Bad premieres tonight at 10pm on AMC. When I came across this show last year, it took me by surprise & sucked me in instantly. The thought of meek & mild Walt White (Cranston), the high school chemistry teacher hooking up with a half-brained former student, Jessie, who's the local drug supplier & cooking the purest meth ever, was totally awesome. (I mean awful, just awful). This season picks up right where it left off. Mad meth-man Tuco, is still wheeling & dealing with our cancer-ridden chemistry teacher & his sidekick Jesse after realizing Walt is NOT afraid. As of all this illegal & dangerous activity, our Walt has been reborn, he feels more alive than he ever has, in his whole life. You just know it's going to get "BAD"!
There's a special guest star on The Unit at 10pm on CBS. Jonas must coach his daughter, Betsy, on how to answer questions about her kidnapping & rescue without blowing the teams cover. All this while being followed by a military-ordered media tour. And guess who gets to interview Betsy? None other than "The Chenbot" herself, Julie Chen! Yep, CBS picked their own Big Brother seasoned reporter to play herself. How hard can it be?
Want more drama? Well, look no further than HBO. Big Love airs at 10pm. This season has got to be the fastest changing & "I didn't see that coming" season ever. You just never know where the show is headed & that's what makes it sooooo good. Come on, who knew you could get your neck snapped by your own pigtail?
How can I leave out the BEST of the best! It's time for Phil! The Amazing Race 14 airs at 8pm on CBS. Tonight our teams are traveling to the frozen oasis known as Siberia. Here they will visit a quaint little village where they will need to either put shingles on a house or stack a cord of wood. Problem is, the wood's frozen to the ground! There's also a new twist to the game that screws one of the team right up. Now it's Phil Time!
Celebrity Apprentice is on at 10pm. Now this show won't be a snoozefest. One of the highlights of the evening is a pissing match between Dennis Rodman & Clint Black. Team Kotu has a little melt-down over Clint's bossy behavior. The challenge for the evening is to create & costume an original comic book character to represent an on-line shoe company. They'll probably get Matt from Heroes with his blind-white eyes to draw the future of the challenge.
E! is premiering season #3 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians at 10pm. In the opening episode, we get to see Khloe go to jail for her blatant disregard for her DUI classes. (if you'll remember, it made headlines somewhere) As you know, she's only there a few hours & afterwards, we get to see the family celebrate her release with drinks all around!
The new series, Candy Girls follows at 10:30pm on E!. This is another bimbo, boobyfest. As if we don't have enough fake boobs on TV. These are the hottest girls in music videos, the background humpers that is. It's all about them!
Ashley & Farrah are on a new episode of The Rock of Love Bus with Bret Michaels on VH1 at 9pm. VH1 is the pro of skank shows & the LoveBus girls never disappoint. Tonight they all pack into the pink bus & leave the blue bus behind. They land in Panama City Beach, the "Redneck Riveria", according to Brooke. Our Bus skanks must don teeny-weeny bikinis & meet Bret on the beach...........
