ABC is getting the kiddies in the mood for the New Year with two animated specials. "Happy New Year Charlie Brown" at 8pm followed by "Rudolph's Shiny New Year" at 8:30pm should finish off our "holiday" programming for another year.
There's a NEW episode of "According to Jim" at 9:30pm & at 10pm, we get a NEW episode of "Eli Stone". (still pissed that it's cancelled).
CBS has "The 31st Annual Kennedy Center Honors" at 9pm. Our host, Caroline Kennedy, will bestoy honors on Morgan Freeman, George Jones, Barbara Streisand, Twyla Tharp & Peter Townsend & Robert Dawltry of "The Who". President & Mrs. Bush will be in attendance & there will be lots of celebrities on stage to honor the group, including Sasha Fierce, Clint Eastwood, & B.B. King.
NBC is offering us repeats of "L&O" & "L&O: SVU" & "L&O:SVU". LOL!
FOX has repeats of "House" & "Fringe", while the CW airs repeats of "90210" & "Privileged".
A&E has a NEW episode of "Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force" at 10pm.
BRAVO has a NEW "The Real Housewives of Orange County" at 10pm. There is suppose to be so much drama tonight & it might just end a new & promising friendship. Oh the whorer, I mean, horror of it all!!
BIOGRAPHY has "William Shatner's Raw Nerve" at 10 & 10:30pm. His guests are Jimmy Kimmel & Tim Allen, (both repeats) I haven't seen any 'raw nerves' being rubbed on this show except mine. Shatner is just too patronizing and seems obsessed with talking about addictions. Maybe he should follow along on an "Intervention" episode instead.
truTV has a NEW episode of their new reality show, "Rehab: Party at the Hard Rock Hotel" at 10pm. I just don't get the "Rehab" part of the title. No one is in rehab. It just people who work & party on the roof every Sunday. I don't get it?
E! has a NEW episode of their 'reality' show too. "Party Monster: Cabo" is on at 10pm & Carmen Electra will make an appearance! Oh wow! Gotta drv this one! zzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
HISTORY is re-broadcasting Part #1 of their mini-series, "Seven Deadly Sins: LUST" at
8pm. Part #2, "Seven Deadly Sins: ENVY" is NEW at 9pm.
"Extreme Trains" is NEW at 10pm. We get to ride on a freight train & learn about the Transcontinental Railway built in the 1860's.
For those of you who like licking, you are going to love "Double Shot at Love", all NEW tonight on MTV at 10pm. The pathetic pack of reality-wannabe idiots get to sing karaoke & then they get to go thru a licking contest to see who has the best tongue. My dog could probably win this one.
TNT is airing another NEW episode of "Leverage" tonight at 10pm. This show may have gotten lost in all the holiday hoopla, but it's worth checking out, if you haven't seen it yet. Timothy Hutton as Nate & his band of "thieves" try to take down a corrupt judge and show amateur robbers just what the pros can do. I find this show much more entertaining than licking ass, but that's me.
VH1 continues it's "100 Geatest Hard Rock Songs" at 10pm. Bret Michaels is the host. Does he even play in a band anymore?
The only movie worth watching is "Soylent Green" (1973) with Charlton Heston & Edward G. Robinson on TCM at 10pm.
