"They're purposefully big-upping the ugly fat girl to make everybody feel great, but it also glamorises the fact that people are getting plastic surgery because they can. It's really bizarre."
And, she adds of the series that will go up against her own acquired taste, My Name Is Earl, in the fall: "It bores the hell out of me."

...Betty is more popular than Earl... and Jaime's new boss, NBC programmer and party animal Ben Silverman, continues to double-dip as one of Betty's executive producers.
