The latest batch of Oscar nominations will be revealed tomorrow, and that can only mean one thing: Razzies today! Yes, the awards that honor dubious achievements in the world of cinema have announced their latest batch of contenders for that most coveted of prizes, the Golden Raspberry. Unsurprisingly, Basic Instinct 2 and Little Man led the pack with seven nominations each, but shockingly, Lucky Number Slevin was left out of the mix entirely.

Noteworthy this year was also the exclusion of Sylvester Stallone and Rocky Balboa, both of which seemed destined for a Razzie sweep in November, but Razzies founder John Wilson told the AP, “At the first of the year, you could not have convinced me it wasn’t going to be a Razzie contender. I would like to publicly say that Stallone has made a good movie.”

“Lady in the Water” was pretty awful.

Didn’t see “Little Man”, but it looks like a terrible SNL sketch stretched to 90 minutes.

This may not be a popular opinion, but I thought “The Good Shepard” totally sucked. Wooden acting, meandering and about an hour too long, and lousy script. Dull as sin. Should be considered for worst movie, worst director for DeNiro, worst acting for Angelia Jolie in particular and worst script. Considering the talent involved, the result deserves to be judged harshly. The only highlight of this movie was, believe it or not, a scene about 3 minutes long with Joe Pesci.
