666 Park Avenue Meet and Greet

666 Park Avenue

Finally, the last two to sit down were Vanessa Williams and Terry O’Quinn. I admit that I was starstruck and couldn’t think of one thing to say.

Vanessa (I feel like I need to call her Ms. Williams) says for the soul-selling question, she would have sold her soul if she didn’t have kids and Terry said he would do it to be successful in show biz, if he weren’t already.

When asked what they liked about doing the show, Vanessa said she loves all the speculation, for example, that Nona is actually a ghost. (She is not.) Terry said that he loves that audience has to do some of the work and that everything isn’t spelled out.

As to what they are looking forward to in the future, Vanessa said she wants to learn more about the backstory between Olivia and Gavin – how they met, what were her circumstances, etc. Terry said backstory is fine as long as they don’t try to make him look 25. Vanessa said she loves the mysteriousness of their characters, and how, right now, we still don’t know whether he has power over her or vice-versa. Unfortunately, that was all the time we had before they had to leave for their next gig.

Overall, it was a super fun and super cool day and now I’m really excited to see how this season progresses.

Wow, that’s exciting, Snoopk8! Thanks for sharing that information with us.

I don’t think I’m prone to star-struckedness, but I think I probably would have been a little starstruck over Terry and Vanessa as well. They’re just that awesome on screen (and it sounds like they’re fairly cool in real life too).

I’m so glad that the actor who plays Henry brought up the lack of en suite laundry issue, because that is the one element of the show that totally challenges my willing suspension of disbelief! That and, how is it that a down-the-rung obit writer (from last night’s episode0 can afford to live in the building in the first place (maybe she inherited it from a dead relative?)

Is it sad that until last night, it never occurred to me that obit writers even exist? I never considered that there is somebody out there whose job is writing obituaries.

@sagittariuskim-i was surprised too. maybe it depends on the area/ person/ how they died? when my parents died we wrote up a short obituary for them at the funeral home, and they submitted it to the papers for us.

loved the introduction of the creepy kid, and am glad nona is good! can’t wait to see how she teams up with jane, especially if gavin is trying to turn henry evil by bits.
