Mad Men: Loula
Oh, Mad Men! You’ve been reading my recaps! Easily my favorite of the season, last night we got the Don-Peggy episode I’ve been itching for, and it was fantastic. He’s a total ass at work, but largely because of the “While You Were Out Stephanie Called from California, URGENT” note he’s carrying in his pocket all day. Peggy has to miss out on her romantic birthday dinner with Karl From Lost to placate him with work on Samsonite, but that turns out to be a smart move, since Karl’s idea of “romantic” is “surprise, your entire family who you don’t especially like is here with me, and if you don’t come out here then let’s break up.” Excellent idea, Karl. And she’s there through the night as he avoids making that call to California, and she’s there when he finally does, and she’s there to see him absolutely break down when he gets the news he’s been expecting all week and avoiding all day. Also: Duck is pathetic, Ken’s back, and once upon a time, Mrs. Blankenship was the hottest piece in the Sterling Cooper typing pool. Sheer awesomeness.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians: Swellmel
Last night we were treated with the first of two special back-to-back Labor Day weekend episodes because we all know those Kardashians never stop working.
In last night’s episode, entitled “The Missing Ring”, Khlo-ho loses her engagement ring from Lamar. Meanwhile Bruce thinks it’s a great idea to park a motorcycle in the house which sends Goth Ronald into a tailspin. The fighting becomes so bad Kylie thinks the Goth and Bruce are headed to splitville, the opposite of Pleasantville.

Bud – “Now Mary-Sue, if you want to fit in you’ll stay away from those black and white Kardashian stripes.”
Check back Tuesday for the recap of “The Missing Ring.” And don’t forget the second brand new episode “The Body Guard” will air tonight at 10 p.m. on E! Btw recap for “The Body Guard” will post Wednesday. Hmm I wonder if Kevin Costner will make an appearance?
If you like it, spread it!:
