Mini caps of Gossip Girl and Tabatha’s Salon Takeover

Tabatha’s Salon Takeover: Medusa
Last night on the season three premiere of Tabatha’s Salon Takeover, Miss T checks in at 4Phun, also known as the Mia Bella Salon in Cali that is operated by the four Phun sisters. They’re vicious, they’re catty, they perform for free in the middle of the salon. The don’t even need a deal with the Style Network to go Cali-lious on each other in front of the staff and the customers.
Oldest sister Cindy is at the end of her rope and her credit line when Tabs arrives, already “over the sister thing”. She drops the hammer on the two younger sisters, and gets this team of snippy siblings working together… working towards a clean, happy family business.

Gossip Girl: SlifeGoesOn
Gossip Slife here. Your one and only source for hilarious recaps of The CW’s trashy teen soap, Gossip Girl. I have to admit that I didn’t have high hopes for this week’s episode after the mega suckfest that was last week’s ep. So, imagine my surprise when the show’s writers went from naughty to nice and made spirits bright by stuffing my stocking with this Christmas gem!
The episode kicked off with the genius pairing of fastidious frenemies, Dan and Blair, thrust together on a road trip to find Juliet. They were like a squabbling vigilante version of Bonnie and Clyde, out for Juliet’s blood to avenge what she did to Slutina, who is now voluntarily at the Ostroff Center to atone for her faux drug-binge. LOL.
Their bumpy road banter led them on a trip down memory lane, and straight back to last season’s devilishly delicious drug-dealer, Damien Dalgaard (Kevin Zegers) who held the key to unraveling the mystery of Slutina’s connection to Juliet and Ben.
The episode took a minor detour with Nate still struggling to bring his estranged parents together (snoozefest!) but it quickly regained momentum when Slutina’s flashbacks and Juliet’s vendetta (“You stupid bitch!”) epically collided and erupted in the middle of Upchuck and Lily’s holiday party for Bass Industries. I don’t want to spoil things just yet, but the truth behind Ben incarceration not only set me free, it set my love for Gossip Girl ON FIRE! Stay tuned for the full recap!!
