Logo2-1This weekend TVgasm did its first ever 24 hour nonstop blogcast as we counted down to the sixth season premier of 24. The goal of this was to. . . ok so we kinda didnt have an exact goal, it just seemed like a fun idea and a great way to honor one of televisions finest and most consistent scripted shows (this statement does not reflect our feelings towards the “Kim gets attacked by a cougar after being kidnapped by Johnny Drama” episode). After 24 hours, 100s of sticks of gum, thousands of dollars in prize giveaways, a deity and 24 cast member call in and stop by, Jackie and I succeeded in the 24 B4 24 marathon. I wanted to just take a second to thank all of you who watched for as long as you did, the calls ins and AIMS helped us get through the night. I also want to thank Dava Kraus, Marc Horowitz, Paul Goebel, Jim Bruce, Jesus H. Christ and of course Glenn Morshower.

    By far the highlight of the night. Great job Jackie and Saul. You guys were awesome and kept me laughing all night.

    The dude that blew up the bus in episode 1, he was one of them Swedish terrorists.

    Right? Still waiting on the roaches to appear (oops, sorry for the spoiler)

    Glenn was awesome. When did you guys finally get some sleep? And did Jackie enjoy the premiere?

    From what I understand Jackie crashed right away, I was up until about 10pmPST and slept for 12 1/2 hours. It was Jacktastic.

    I’ve never watched 24 but I ended up watching around 9 hours of your blogcast. The next day I decided to give 24 a try and I am now halfway through the 1st season and OBSESSED. Jack Bauer is my hero!

    My favorite part was when Jesus said that there is no hell but Saddam is in the “dick” section of heaven.

    The absolute best 24 hrs ever! (man, do I need a life or what?)

    I was so excited I forgot to TiVo the damn premier!!

    I still can’t get free credit report dot com out of my head. Don’t worry MYL, I still “puffy” heart you though.

    Knowing that Jesus wears boxer briefs filled my head with dirty thoughts.

    Good times….
