Guess Who’s Moving!

Amazing Race

The Amazing Race has had a tough year. First, Family Edition totally killed the series growing momentum, jumping the shark for many fans. Then CBS stuck the new season in the less than desirable 10 PM Tuesday timeslot where its ratings hemorrhaged behind The Unit. Luckily, a change is on the horizon. As announced last night during Survivor, our favorite travel/adventure show is moving to Wednesdays at 8 PM. Granted, this puts it in competition with America’s Next Top Model, but hey, that’s what dual-tuner Tivos are for, right? So be sure to take note, people. Don’t let this show wind up back on the bubble again.

ANTM has jumped the megalodon for me this season. Tyra is so in love with herself, modeling is portrayed as far too difficult, the women are rather busted, etc.

TAR, on the other hand, is awesome again. This week’s returned to the glory of yore with the crafty editing we all grew to love early on.

I SAW that. What is the matter with these people? Just as they were getting their groove back, Stella up and moves the show on us.

Tuesday’s @ 8pm would have been excellent. But as it is Wednesdays are going to be the “must see tv” night for me.

On ANTM next week Tyra passes out in front of the girls.

I’m going to hae to get a third DVR. This is sad, this is so sad. But TAR is at the top.

I’m glad it’s moving back to its old time but I wish it was still on Tuesday. This season is really good, even without comparing it to the Family Edition, and it deserves to be seen. So what does it take to be a tv programmer- the ability to fail an IQ test?

This season, the number of viewers are back down to the same number as the second season (7.7mil) which is really bad for TAR. They lost almost half the viewers during the family crap.
