Completely overshadowed by the storm– or drizzle– over Simon Cowell‘s behaviour on last night’s American Idol was the latest performance and hair display by favorite Sanjaya Malakar. While the theme was “country music” and we were hoping he’d turn in a stunning version of “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” Sanjaya was allowed to sing a pop tune by blues artist Bonnie Raitt.

    He obviously realized his singing has nothing to do with his continued success, and he’s not even bothering to try anymore. God, I though Paris Bennett was annoying, but at least that girl had some talent.
