The hits just keep on coming for American Idol hopeful Antonella Barba, as the Cindy Crawford of the Top 24 is turning into the Storm Large. Yesterday, photos of the 20-year-old sitting on the loo and discreetly topless showed up on the Internet. Today there are more– and they don’t come from from some nasty tabloid but thanks to her local newspaper! The Phillyburbs newschain website has printed a portfolio of topless, drinking, authority-flaunting and girl-grinding pix (someone suggested they look like MySpace grabs).

We’ll see how Antonella’s pipes hold up tonight. But if she doesn’t make American Idol, she could always consider the Miss USA pageant.

    I know this makes me sound really old, but these kids today have to realize how stupid it is to put pictures like this on pages for any of these networking website. They’re all going to have to go get jobs someday, and many employers are now trolling these sites to see what kind of person they are dealing with.

    By the way, I’ll put the over/under on seeing Antonella on the pages of FHM, Stuff, Maxim or Playboy at the May issues.

    Welcome to the myspace generation. Do I feel bad for her? NO WAY – screw her. The first time the two of them showed up at the auditions, the first thing I thought was – yeah, they’re hot, but so what? They’re just a couple of Jersey skanks – attention whores. The kind of girls that have a few shots of Jager and then put on their phony lez show to get every guy’s attention (especially the ones with girlfriends). They were probably standouts at the Karaoke bars at spring break and had contests with their friends to see how many guys they could do in a weekend. This whole myspace/Girls Gone Wild mentality, outdoing each other’s skankiness, has become routine and it’s so 2004, starting with myspace los angeles – which is hobag central. I actually hope these pics keep coming and you’ll get much more than pics I’m sure…if they’re hanging out in packs at nude beaches, I guarantee there’s a video or two that’s going to show up, and I’d be willing to place money on it containing more than two people! Maybe this will teach these girls to stop showing their bleached assholes on myspace and thinking it will be a good thing for them. Eventually, this kind of stuff will not only keep them from getting ahead in entertainment, but in the professional world in general. Didn’t the actresses in LA learn a long time ago that spreading on ten casting couches a day or doing porn on the side isn’t going to help them make connections? On the contrary, it’s just a direct route to flushing any of their career asperations forever.
