In the mood for something truly awful? Still jonesing for horror now that Halloween’s passed? Well, we’ve got the remedy for you. Constantine Maroulis of American Idol has a video diary in which he muses on the size of baseball stadiums, fluffs his hair, and pretty much spends the rest of the time mugging for the camera. Technically, it’s a backstage glimpse of Connie preparing to sing at last month’s playoffs showdown between the Mets and the Cardinals, but honestly, while the subject matter seems tame, it’s as scary as anything you’ve seen from the Saw movies.     The stadium video didn’t scare me too much…so then I clicked on backstage at the Wedding Singer…I just scheduled a therapy appt. for later today. I need my memory erased.

    I couldn’t get those clips to run, so I’ll take your word for it. People’s headline “This Week: The Idol star takes us backstage and inside his wild life” is enough to make it clear that he’s a douche.

    Sweet God. Thanks for the nightmares I’ll have tonight, B-side. What the hell happened to him? He seemed like he had at least a bit of promise, but he sort of petered out. He probably pissed off too many people. Now that I’m hearing it again after all this time, his voice isn’t very good anyways.

    I can’t be bothered with anything lately. Such is life. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I’ve just been staying at home not getting anything done. I haven’t been up to anything today, but oh well. I haven’t gotten much done lately.
