Paula Abdul: Pills? Maybe. Hot for Idol contestants? Not likely.

paula_lawsuit.jpg It’s been a tough year for American Idol producers. They increased the age limit for applicants and it has netted them a suspected cocaine user, an alleged woman-beater, and Constantine. Puala Abdul has been battling allegations that she spends more on pharmaceuticals than Courtney Love, an idea that TVgasm caught onto pretty early in the game. We even published a letter from a family that has been party to the tragedy first hand.

More recently, a former idol contestant claims that he had sex with Paula Abdul. ABC is planning an expose on American Idol and FOX has threatened to sue. A TVgasm insider, we’ll call him/her AH, says that if ABC brings up anything, Rupert’s lawyers will have a field day. “The case for any sexual misconduct on Paula’s part is almost laughable”, we hear. That being said, others say our tearful judge thought it was no problem to hang out with contestants off air or buy them gifts, which is another whole conflict of interest entirely.

As far as the allegations that Paula would regularly take a few dozen painkillers a day? That is a cause for too much speculation, although if one was interested, they might investigate any “morality” clauses the three judges might have in their contracts in relation to their on-air conduct. It’s just a theory, of course, but any morality clause she signed wouldn’t affect what she did on the weekend.

    According to Drudge, ABC has “VOICEMAIL MESSAGES” and they are threatening to air them.

    I am going on record now as predicting these tapes will be benign. maybe something like “Hey, I had a great time last night, see you on tuesday.” or something which is not directly incriminating.

    Also it looks like the Dredge Report is trying to get up support to boot Paula off the show. I tell ya this site will do anything to manufacture news. But you never know, like FukNews …oops, FoxNews they push a story until people are brainwashed by it.

    I hope the AI producers stand by Paula because without Constantine, who would I have fun bloggin on?

    so today officially sucks. i woke up to enjoy Live! With Regis and Kelly and my Kashi cereal which i nearly threw up when i saw constantine was on at the end of the show.

    ruined my entire day.

    If Paula cheats in favor of lovers she’s not very good at it. Somehow I just don’t picture Paula with Reuben, Kelly or Fantasia….Maybe that is only the failure of my imagination (or, with respect to Reuben, or heaven forbid, Clay, just a blessing that I can’t picture it).

    hey BigMax-what are you implying?? i’m sure Clay would do what every other red blooded American male would do to Paula’s most private of regions..after a day of lunch and shopping with her.

    So here I was, ready to apologize to Alohaguy since his imagination can go where my imagination fears to tread. But then I read EddieBosox’s comment under “Riding the Bus with My Sister” where he suggests the possibility that Rosie O’Donnell might give good head.

    As of now, the picture of Paula and Reuben looks good by comparison.

    If Paula is kicked off the show, I will not be watching! She was my favorite performer in her day – yes, I’m 30! I do not at all believe that these accusations are true. Besides, if I were going to pick someone to have an affair with, it definitely would not have been Corey Clark! Ugghhh . . . sorry – just my opinion!

    Good for Paula if you can get the young stuff go for it. What she does in her free time is her owm bussiness.It’s not like the guy won…
