Young Idols in Love: Chris & Blake come out

American Idol Timberfakes Chris Richardson and Blake Lewis have been raising eyebrows all season with their Lenny & Carlish, Scrubsian guy love that inspired the (above, left) fake photo that spread through the Internet a few weeks ago, and raised a few more with their giggly shared whispers and declarations of affection before Chris was booted off the show on Wednesday.

So where did this guy love begin?

Chris is talking: “It started during Hollywood Week… “…It was one of those things where you just click with somebody,” he tells Us Weekly. “We had a lot in common with music tastes, style and personality traits and it just led to a friendship.

“We bonded.”

Sorry, they may be aiken for each other, but it’s not a gay love. Chris also found himself fending off rumours that he’s been out nailing celebutard clubcrawlers like Lauren Conrad and Lindsay Lohan. “I just got out of a three-and-a-half year relationship back home. All the other rumors are just rumors. Those people are just my friends and acquaintances. I’m pretty much single right now but still respecting the fact that I just got out of a relationship with my girlfriend.”

But what about that whispering onstage with girlfriend Blake? Chris claims they “were singing a song we had written that we used to laugh and joke about. I told him to just sit down because I knew I was going home.”

The boys will be reunited this summer on the Idols Live! tour.

    Their just close best friends. Their people you know…they have best friends.
    It’s very funny how people like to create rumors like these to get attention..and could possibly ruin someone’s image. =[

    OK First of all look at them. They are wayyyyy tooo HOTT to be gay and they are great guys. Just because they are frieands doesn’t mean their gay!!! whoever thinks they are gay can rott in HELL
