Oh, the videos. I love ‘em. For WEEEEEKS, I did the “Hi, I’m Kyle!” thing, and the “hey girl hey, I’m seymone, and I ain’t no clone”. In fact, i’ll probably do it until I fall asleep tonight. They are THE BEST.
Alisha wins the challenge for the Brits–their first–and then Sophie and Annaliese do a little dance along with their own video. And why are they SO bad at singing along with their own song? Oh, and Azmarie went home. No tooch, no win.
Then Sophie and Catharine roamed around the house with plaid pillows and sunglasses, acting like total nutters. Annaliese explains that the competition and show stuff gets in your brain, like mad cow.
And now the Estelle Getty shoot, where everyone was contorting their tooches on a dinner party table. Kyle was really boring in her shot, though, and they don’t mention her added tooch help as they recap for us Kyle’s exit. Bye, you’re Kyle!
Then it was the Hello Kitty shot, and Seymone bitched too much about her big ol’ headpiece and she went home.
So remember that episode when Laura was like, “That Eboni is so annoying and so vain”? And it seemed really pointed and personal? Turns out it’s not. Everyone felt the same way, that Eboni is super-fucking vain. Like, can’t pass a mirror without primping or hamming it up. We get shots of everyone making fun of Eboni. Annaliese makes me LOL when she says, “I don’t think she’s actually making eye contact when she’s looking at me–I think she’s looking at her own reflection in my eyeballs.” HA!
Nigel visits with Chinese food, and he announces their big trip to Asia! Macau! Screams for the island no one’s ever heard of!
Macau! Weird MGM Grand performer guy! Headdresses! Wait, I think that weird performer guy just sang about smizing and being on top. Oh no, Tyra infected him too!
In some never-before-seen footage, we watch the girls act out their own personal ANTM show in the suite in Macau, each one acting the part of another model and the judges. Laura did a pretty good Kelly, and Sophie did a pretty good Eboni (and American accent), talking about not wearing the pigtails. Then Sophie stripped down and let her crack hang out to be Laura (“I was thinking about SEX”).
Remember when Alisha got mad about Sophie touching her dress and leaving it on the floor? Yeah, whatever.
And then that silk worm photo shoot, remember? Laura was sexy with the worms. Catharine couldn’t get it together, and she got eliminated. That’s a shame, I liked her.
And then some not-seen-before footage of the girls shopping in Macau. They ate weird street food and didn’t like it. And were kinda rudely making “ew” faces in front of the vendors.
Then the episode I missed, with the action hero training in Hong Kong and the rainy, scary, tower-top shoot that freaked Sophie out. Oh yeah, and Eboni’s comment about Laura sleeping her way to the top, which really ended up being a non-issue. Really, not actual drama. They’re tired. And then my girl Alisha goes home. I probably would have cried if I’d actually watched this ep (it’s still on my DVR). Eboni goes home too, and that’s fine.
This is a really small thing, but I’ve noticed it a couple of times and it bugs me….but when Sophie makes a face about something, have you noticed that it has two levels? It goes to the natural level first, then she remembers that she’s on camera and turns it up a notch. So she’ll, like, drop her jaw in shock and then half a second later drop it wider. It seems calculated. Maybe it’s just me.
