Minicap: Around the World in 80 Plates – Italia!

Around the World in 80 Plates

Love. Her.

Ribollita! Ricotta (non)cheese! Bacci ball! Cat’s crazy backteased hair! You guessed it, Gasmii, we are in Italy!

The reshuffled teams board the plane to Florence and are sent on the chase for the E.I. Zany stereotypical American tourist running around ensues.  American reality shows making the US of A proud for over a decade now!

The winning team gets the Exceptional Ingredient which this time is an actual old lady. Nonna Romanelli! They won Nonna Romanelli! I swear I had a dream just like that last week.

The challenge comes down to each team creating a meal in separate villas and let’s just say that ONE team receives a backstage kitchen visit due to their misuse of Nonna Romanelli. For shame, all Nonnas should be cherished – especially the Romanelli variety.

Kind of shocked by the outcome, but whaddya gonna do, right Nookie (who lived and worked in Italy but can’t speak any Italian.???)?

Oh and Jenna needs to be smacked. You heard me, Liz! Smacked, I say!

C’mon Liz, you know you want to…

I will not be doing the full recap this week due to a conflict, but the dynamic duo of Jane&Blanche will take over for me. Please read and comment, you REALLY don’t want to piss Jane off. SHE is a REALLY bad cook!  Thanks guys!

Clearly, these people are not playing a strategic game AT ALL! I really like the person who went home, but that person was really strategically lacking. That person just wante to have a good time and a long vacation on Miss Andy’s dime, which isn’t such a bad idea if you can swing it! The person who went home should have tried to force a tie so that Nicole (who I believe is aligned, or at least has a friendship, with Liz) would have chosen who went home. I get that these people are tired, worn out, jet lagged, whatever…. but damn, the lack of strategy makes me want to punch a wall.

After J&B pinch hit for HoneyGangsta on the RHOC boards, I’m looking forward to their take on this show. I really want to like this show, but I like my reality competitions to actually be, you know, competitive. If someone like Nookie or John or Nick or Jenna actually win, I sincerely hope that this show doesn’t come back for a second season.

I’m rooting for Nicole or Liz to win. I love it win unpopular people shove it up their bullies’ asses! (or maybe I’m just projecting!)

Loved Nona! Her simmer noise was hilarious and I’m totally doing that the next time I’m cooking.

Looking forward to the full recap. Thanks, Foggywood!
