   I’m kind of surprised that some writers chose shows that the site already recaps. No offense to potential new recapper.

   That makes a lot more sense Flipit because when I saw two recaps of RHOC, I started to get really confused about the fascination with that particular show.

   I don’t know for sure Flipit, but I think it’s because they’re going to have to lay out a shitload of money to buy enough booze and Thorazine to get through watching these crazy bitches week after week. Or at least a crate of No-Doze.

   Hahahahah! True. Well don’t worry there’s nothing mean here. We are looking for the funniest writers to fill the spring sched. So if there’s someone great that doesn’t get the housewives slot, it doesn’t mean they can’t still recap a show. The whole point of this is to give the readers a say in who they want to read every week, not to hurt anyone’s feelings.

   I read Fighter Six: RHOC recap and had a hard time keeping up – I felt like a boomerang bouncing off all of the Real Housewife shows. I really like the concept, but I think it would have been much better if he/she would have stuck with one RH venue (I cannot get logged in to vote). I think this person needs a redo and focus just on one episode of one RH venue and I think I would really like the style of writing.

    To be fair, Fighter 6′s recap is of an old Flintstone’s cartoon episode if you follow the YouTube link- not a Real Housewives episode. But I suppose that’s part of the problem- that’s not totally clear in the recap.

    Yeah, what Mulecitybabe said about the meanness. I did like fighter 5′s recap but only because I know the Flintstones so well – don’t judge me- but I do think it should have been more focused. But, I also really liked both the Highlander and the Miami Vice recap and would love to see what those writers could do with the Housewives. The Miami Vice Recapper really knows his/her stuff when it comes to sensitive men and the Highlander recapper really seems to know trannies. Which means either would be right at home discussing Donn or Vickie respectively… It’s a crap shoot at this point. Bring on the next round.

    Aww fancyface, I like the Flintstones. I thought it was a kind of original way to go about recapping the show. It probably would have made more sense with screen caps though.

    How was that even a recap? It made no sense what so ever. If this was a make up a pile of irrelevant crap and call it a recap contest…(it would still fail because it was completely dumb)..maybe, but it’s not.

    Bwah! I don’t know why, but your outrage is really funny to me. It’s like they offended you. I love it! I do agree that this wasn’t that great, but I did think it was cute for it’s originality. So far, I’m liking the non-Housewives recaps the best. If I had to rank them, I would say a tie between Miami Vice and Highlander with Faerie Tales a close second. I didn’t care for the Buffy one because whoever wrote it didn’t seem to know that Joss Whedon wrote the screenplay for the movie. That offended the geek in me.

    @libithina, I didn’t want to say anything because I was worried about how geeky I would come across. I was also worried that maybe the person was joking and I just didn’t get it. It is so good to know I wasn’t alone in my immediate irritation.
