The Regisless Daytime Emmy nominations

Tyra Banks got more than Oprah, Rachael Ray got more than Dr. Phil, Regis got nothing and CBS leads the pack with 57–including 33 for its soaps Guiding Light and As the World Turns– in nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show only got 12 (including host), but was still the most-nominated talk show. The View got 10, followed by Rachael Ray (seven), The Tyra Banks Show (six), The Martha Stewart Show (five), and Dr. Phil and The Oprah Winfrey Show (four apiece).

Also nominated in the host category are Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, Soap Talk‘s Lisa Rinna and Ty Treadway, Tyra Banks and all those women from The View.

And though Regis didn’t get a nomination, he is getting heart bypass surgery this week.
