WOW, Gasmi it was a wild and groovy night at the Bachelor Pad!

They promised us “the most shocking and disturbing Bachelor Pad finale ever.”

And really what could be more disturbing than having to watch this show all summer long only to see an awkward proposal, awkward hot seats and an awkward ending.

It’s nice to see some things don’t change.

Erica Rose still isn’t washing her hair.

Blakeley wears the same outfits.

Lindzi added another coat of orange.

All the guys had their teeth re-whitened.

While some things have changed.

Jamie is channeling Cher but not in a good way.

Michael is a jerk.

The wonder twins are quiet.

Donna is wearing clothes.

And Chris is almost sincere.

Tune in tomorrow for our full recap of this train wreck so you will know what Chris Harrison says “millions of viewers” already know…millions of viewers, Chris? Did you take the Seacrest class in exaggeration? We’re shocked that we aren’t the only ones watching each week.

We grew up on the prairie; Blanche is older and became blind by her teenage years... Jane is the adorable younger sister, known as "half -pint." Ok, so that's not true but we were raised in Texas, so kinda close.

We're all grown up now and are official card-carrying members of the Asshole Social Society, it's kinda like an exclusive country club, but for snarky  people who have no money, and would rather stay home talking to the tv than to other people.

Growing up we fought like crazy but only during the commercials... Now we're sisters that love and respect each other, only on the 8's tho (kinda like the weather channel...)

We love all reality tv and meat products.

We will try to make you laugh but a majority of the time we just make ourselves laugh so you may get a raw deal.

People love us! At least to our face they do, which is proper southern etiquette .

I was soo disturbed by the ending that I woke up extra early!!! Not only by the jerk winner ..I won’t even give his name ..he has had too much “fame” already..but by the editing…when he who shall not be named said that he went under the wire…ABC went straight to clips proving this point…if this was live and “real” how would they know to have the clips ready? This happened with several other people…how scripted and fake is this show???
Also I don’t think Chris is sincere.I think he he plotting his return on the next show..so he wants to walk out fixing his image…and that dip shit Michael..I’ve said it before there is something wrong with him…besides being a horses’ ass..what is up with the face twitching and jerky movements?!

@TV Junkie…the show was taped before a live studio audience a few weeks ago. It wasn’t aired live and they never said that it was. This is how the producers could insert clips of Nick and the rest of the cast in between segments. The show is fake/scripted though.

I thought it was brilliant. It was like just a dash of self-awareness to all these people who actually think love is some sort of game show and that by hooking up with people for the summer somehow entitles them to money somehow?

With all the hurt feelings and broken hearts and stuff, at the end of the day it’s just a show. Rachel wondering why the audience would enjoy it in earnest without realizing that anyone with half a brain is in no way invested in who “deserves” the money and whether or not she gets it. Does it blow she got treated like crap by Micheal and then lost the money to Nick? Yeah. I’m not happy she’s crying, but it was a pretty hilarious masterstroke on the part of the guy I didn’t even know was on the show until the second to last episode.

I am usually very skeptical and cynical when it comes to “reality” TV but this was AWESOME! Next to Sue Hawk’s snake vs. rat Survivor speech – Nick unloading on Rachel and the entire cast was STUNNING to say the least.

Wow what a 180 from the Nick we all thought we knew. Smile to your face and drive a knife in your back. Rachel chasing him backstage was desparate and pathetic – like Nick is going to all of a sudden stop and say “you are right – left me hand over $125K”.

Mike Stags 15 min is up and he too is a total phoney. Aww poor Mikey America’s loveable clown who had his heart stomped on last year turns around and does the same thing. You reep what you sow D-bag!

WTF was Jamie wearing and those poppin Tangerine lips to boot! Erica Rose is a miserable plastic cunt who is destine to die alone with a gavel in her hand – GO AWAY.

Quiet Wonder Twins made the whole show way too disturbing for me.

What did they do to them?!?

Considerthis–my sentiments, exactly! Loved the finale. And yikes, maybe Michael did have a thing for her, maybe he did mean everything he said to her…but once she became a blubbering mess after he left, maybe he freaked the fuck out. What a looney tunes that girl is…seriously.

Maybe it’s just the fact that I’m a hundred times smarter than any of these people, but if I were on the show I think I’d have a pretty easy way to get around the rules and make sure I don’t get screwed over by my partner…a la Rachel. It sounds like they had a couple of weeks to talk about things before this final episode airs. I tell my partner that if I am in the final 2, I am choosing Keep. We have lawyers draw up a contract that states if we make the final 2, I will choose Keep. If they choose share, I am legally bound to give them 1/2 of the 250,000 (after taxes). They then get a choice, choose keep too and neither of us gets money. Or choose share, and we split the $ afterwards per the contract. Both of us are 100% protected from getting screwed over. ABC wouldn’t like it, but unless there’s a specific rule against it, I’m doing it!

of course, I’m way too intelligent to every go on a reality show in the first place :p

Heh, you really are from jersey, aren’t you? What exit?

I thought the guy’s speech was excellent (even if he’s clearly an idiot), and he was definitely right. He certainly didn’t owe that airhead and her veneers anything. If anything, she should thank him for the extra fifteen minutes of airtime.

I’m really happy for Blakely thought. Seriously. I hope this works out for her. I even kind of hope the Kalon/Lindseed thing works too. If nothing else, it’ll help get them off our screens.

Also, I know I’m in the minority but even if Jamie’s a mental case, she’s hot. I also dig Sara’s whole snaggletooth Miley Cyrus thing.

    Yes. Yes, I know.

Oh, and another thing. There’s no fucking way that guy is only 27. I peg him at 35, at least. Unless steroids make you age prematurely?

That finale made the whole season worth it. That was great. Does Rachel remind anyone else of Danielle from BB14. She created this huge relationship with Michael and then thought since she tossed Nick some pity and became his partner he should split the money with her. Yes, Michael might have liked her during the taping but then they broke up. Why do these girls on this show think that if they like the guy, he must like them too and as much. People grow apart and relationships end especially those that start out on this ABC franchise.

The best part was, as soon as Nick called out all the other ‘players’ most of them agreed that they were playing for the 250,000 and just wouldn’t have the balls to do what he did. He was a little mean to Rachel with her crying right next to him but her crying felt more like she was pissed because she might have already spent what she thought she was going to earn.

Thanks for the explain about the editing..I thought it was live!!! I do see ..he who shall not be name’s point..and god did he love his stage show..did you all see Chris’s( from Chicago) mind turning…like wow…I could do this..even to my mother and family ..who have lost all respect for me..
Chris H. loved it too ..that move has changed the BP’s game forever..now more people will watch the end show to see who else will be screwed.
But Karma is a bitch…wait until he gets his tax bill!!!
I’m off to watch Jeff Lewis..BRAVO rocks!!!

The ending was AWESOME! I was so sick of that clique who thought they were better than everything else. Their behavior was like middle school children. I didn’t like Rachel, she was such a winer. She thought she was so so special. What is with these young women and lack of self esteem? Ed is such as user but Jacquelyn didn’t mind whoring herself out during the show even though she expressed that concerned but oh well….Chris is a younger user also. Kalon looks now like a nice guy hopefully he is not as bad as all of the rest. Again, LOVED LOVED the ending and the anger of the girls of the “in crowd” not sure why the twins were so quiet.

It’s hard to tell what’s real and what’s the show. You can tell how the producers set stuff up. Like if somebody’s going to get sent home they want to keep. They’ll say oh there’s a new twist.

And ABC’s gone to extremes staging their behind the scenes drama. Trying to get their ratings. And compete with TLC etc. But still keep their long time fans.

All the cast are hoping to get other work. Like on any other show. For instance Michael’s got a band or something. Which was how come he ever went on Bachelorette in the 1st place. And now Bachelor Pad twice.

So you have to wonder about so many grown ass women going Delusiona. You’d think they’d all keep in mind that everybody else is there for the same reason they are. To get paid. They know just 1 or 2 people can get picked to win the “game.” But they’re all on Bachelor Pad trying to get more show business work.

Look at Bachelor/ette/pad like professional wrestling. Michael, for example, started out as the nice loser guy, then became the sad-sack heartbroken good guy. But now they’re starting to transform him into a villain character.

The only thing they’re missing are masks and tights.

@itchy, haha yup jersey born and raised! Although I hightailed it out of there for college when I was 17 and haven’t looked back! :) And I’m a lawyer, so it’s a double whammie :p

Also, did they really say nick was only 27? I was so totally focused on his hideous shoes (seriously what was the deal with them?) that I missed that. He’s had some hard living if that’s really true!

Lindsey needs to lay off the self-tanner. She’s approaching a Snooki-level Code Orange!

Great shot of Cher’s GILF-reimagined outfit.

Until this season, the Padmates have always selected the cute couple with the sob story to win. This made no sense. They should always choose the “couple” that isn’t, really, because they’re more likely to fuck each other over with two Keeps… which means the Padmates will split the winnings.

However (since I’m overanalyzing) this changes ABC’s sweet, idealized little romantic franchise, where the best couple always wins, and Jerry Springers the hell out of it. Maybe that’s what ABC wants?

Jane here! Sorry the recap has taken longer than normal to post folks. Sept. 11th is very personal to me and I just couldn’t find the funny. Blanche was supportive and we gave it a day of rest…. it’s now done and should be up in a few:)
