Basketball Wives LA Minicap: Getting Closer To The Big Fight

This week on Basketball Wives LA… Jackie and Laura meet up and Jackie remains delusional as she explains her failed lunch with Draya last week. Jackie “has to care” about what everyone thinks of her and she’s going to give Draya another chance. Oy vey. She’s worried Draya won’t show up to her wedding. Laura compares her to a person with a frog.

Malaysia meets with Gloria and butts into her relationship with her own sister, Laura. She’s interviewing in short hair and big glasses. Draya meets with her parents to see if they are willing to move to LA. Her dad must have been a dud and now they’re hanging onto Draya to provide for them. Gloria meets with her producers about her comic book process. Brooke and Laura join her. Her character’s name is “V”. She feels that’s dope. She seems to have borrowed Draya’s glasses.

Malaysia brings Bambi to meet Jackie. Bambi claims to be a wedding planner this week. Jackie claims the word “crazy” doesn’t bother her at the same time as the word completely bothers her. Jackie calls Malaysia homophobic. Laura and Gloria meet and are playing basketball. It will be hard to be mean about this scene because it’s actually v real and emotional. I like Laura more and I hate Gloria less. Draya is drunk as she meets with Malaysia and Bambi. She’s also panty free. Bambi tells Draya about how the drama started between Bambi and Brooke. It’s over a “dude”. Go figure.

Doug and Jackie meet with the cake maker for the wedding cake. Jackie likes lemon. Doug likes men. Draya and her mom visit a psychic. Draya talks about how much pressure she has on her to support her entire family (read, parents). I dislike Draya less. Jackie and Doug go to the gay bar to see sample go-go dancers. My sheltered world is shattered by a man in a purple bikini. Jackie worried that the girl was too pretty. Doug worried that the girl was a girl.

Laura throws a going away party for Gloria with ALL the girls. It goes swimmingly. And by swimmingly I mean it’s a train wreck from the beginning to end. I was THRILLED.

I could not believe that Jackie accused Malaysia of being homophopic! There is totally something wrong with that woman! Did anyone else catch Laura (who looks great, by the way) saying something about “pretending” to be Jackie’s friend and that she “has something planned for Jackie”? Dun dun dun…. I am on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what the hell Laura is talking about. Anybody got the scoop?

I cannot stand fake people Draya has got beside herself and Laura is low down. If you do not like Jackie why grin in her face. Laura jumped on malysia for no reason yoy all forgot that Laura beat Draya down in the boxing match. Everybody can get forgiven except Jackie Jackie need to tell them bitches to kiss her ass and go on Laura kills me I wouldn’t get on tv and tell people how I would happy if someone die but claim to be their friend. I be glad when this seaseon is over hope to never see any of u bitches except Bambi and Jackie

@carla – jackie can’t be forgiven bc the moment after she apologizes, she does something worse than before. no one needs to kiss her ass. there’s a screw loose in her head. laura is hysterical. i’ve known crazy people before, and the safest thing to do is smile to their face. draya is so-so for me. but laura and brooke appear to be the sanest. malaysia is filled with cotton candy and a boat load of benzos.

    Punctuation matters. Says everyone, always.
