The real third season of Battlestar Galactica starts tomorrow night at 9PM EST. Although the show has moved past the point where us SciFi geeks are just happy to have it on the air and giddy to hear frack as part of the lexicon. Some may feel that it would be difficult to get caught up with everything and I will admit, there is a lot of back story. Luckily, the SciFi channel has made it very easy to get caught up with Battlestar Galactica: The Story So Far. I probably should have given people more warning since the next airing is today at 4PM EST, but it plays again tomorrow at 5PM EST. For those of you who can’t wait and need to kill some time at work, SciFi is offering free downloads of the episode here. You can choose among Xbox download, Netflix (yeah, probably too late), Yahoo! Video, AOL Video, and iTunes. In other words, you have no reason to miss out, especially when you consider that SciFi will be having a marathon all day tomorrow with actual episodes for you to watch. And if that is still not enough, you can catch the first 12 minutes of the season here (thanks for the link Double L).

    I JUST got addicted to this show. IT’S SO F’N GREAT I CAN’T STAND IT!!! I’m half way through the 2nd season. THANK YOU ITUNES!! Every time my boss leaves I pull up an episode on my computer. I’ve been losing sleep! This show is CRACK. ALL I WANT TO DO ALL DAY IS WATCH IT!! I can’t WAIT to get caught up and start the new season!!!

    I started watching this show because I love sci fi and I was curious to see how it would differ from the original (wow was that a horrible show).

    It started off as very cool and had that dark atmosphere about it that usually draws me into a show. As the show progressed it has not only become one of the best sci fi series ever but it is one of the BEST shows on television period.

    It is so good I dont trust my TiVo to record it. You know what I mean if one of those god damn emergancy brodcast tests come on it screws up the recording.

    Yes and by the way I will take Sharon (Boomer) Volari over Number 6 any time. Yes I confess I have a huge crush on Grace Park. Ever notice how the Cylons can make there women about 10 times as sexy as human women.
