Chenbot Becomes Self-Aware!

This is probably the most wonderful thing I’ve woken up to in quite some time. From today’s Page Six:

June 1, 2006 -- IS "Big Brother" hostess Julie Chen actually an android? An Internet compilation clip of CBS boss Les Moonves' wife robotically uttering the phrase "but first" has led some to dub her "The Chenbot" - and even she seems to agree. "My best friend from college called one day and said, 'They call you "the Chenbot" on the Internet. You're like a robot,' " Chen tells Entertainment Weekly. "And I'm like, 'What?!' I watched that Internet compilation of every 'but first' I've said on 'Big Brother.' You know, my inflections are the same every single time. The turn is the same every single time. The facial expressions are the same every time. I am the Chenbot!"

    She systematically categorized the data; viewed the tangible evidence; analyzed the variables and came to the only logical conclusion….
    She IS a Chenbot.

    I have a feeling she will be mentioning this revelation sometime during the season.

    Holy crap BSide, you woke up with morning tvgasm wood. That is freaking awesome that she actually saw the clip! Now, we can see how many ‘But Firsts’ she’ll spout out now that she is ‘aware’.

    Btw, I love the title! Reminds me of the Terminator movies when they talked about the precise moment when Cyberdyne Systems became ‘aware’. Does this mean the beginning of Global Thermal Nuclear War?

    Hmm, I know B-Side and Chenbot is aware of B-side. I can get there in 2.

    And would it have killed them to mention TVgasm as opposed to “the internet” or that “Internet compilation”?

    I can’t believe they didn’t mention Tvgasm in the article. You guys are the ones that made that name up. Maybe we should all write them and complain.

    This week at school my teachers are cramming in all of their last-minute assignments in and stuff to be completed for tomorrow. I have 3 projects, a speech and a short story to finish tonight… and this post has made all of those things bearable. Especially since the ‘but first’ compilation was the very first thing i saw on this website a year ago, while memorizing my speech in french tonight i will take solice in that the Chenbot has confessed to being the Chenbot

    I’m so pleased that the upgraded Chenbot 7.0 now comes with fully functioning self-awareness and sense-of-humour microprocessors. I’ve heard a rumour that she’s also had lasers fitted into her fingertips so she can control houseguests who don’t answer questions immediately… ZZZZAPPP!

    Maybe she’ll start winking now when she says “Butt First” – a little nod to all her Tvgasm fans who helped to elevate her to the cult status she now enjoys.
