Get your iPods ready. On But Can They Sing?, Bai Ling not only sang a beautiful rendition of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” but she shared a duet with the most dulcet of vocalists: Mr. Carmine Gotti Agnello. Well, the question has been answered – NO, THEY CAN NOT SING. Excuse me while I go pry my dog out from under my bed – he took off when I played this Cyndi Lauper song.

I wish we could bring back the Gong Show. At least you could make a no-talent act stop singing by hitting that gong.

This is what makes TVgasm so incredibly amazing.

I really want Bai to come out with a rock album. Complete with hot cover art. I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

    Meh, hearing is overrated anyway.

(Ahem) I said, “HEARING IS OVERRATED ANYWAY!!!”

Bai Ling is incredible! She owns this show. She has to win or there is no justice! Amazing performances. She is on her way to becoming the next Bjork.

Something tells me that Baispeak was used in WWII along with the Navajo Codetalkers. Unbreakable! Unlistenable! UNSTOPPABLE! I have tried every week to decipher Baispeak, and this week was better than the whole CAW ME episode. But, in respect to my schnauzer and sleeping baby, I had to turn it off. *sigh* I tried, but “Gahs just wanna haf fon”… :)

I love Bai Ling. So is just so entertaining for some reason. She is definitely the star of the show. But I think that fugly Gotti kid will probably win.

I don’t think there are words in the English language to describe that. I was going to say that Bai is improving, since I could understand about 80% of Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, but then Summer Lovin’ played. If I were John Gotti, I would be strapping myself into the electric chair right now so I wouldn’t have to live with this embarrassment to the family name any longer.

English isn’t Bai Ling’s first language – what’s this Gotti kid’s excuse for failing miserably at speaking English?

Welcome to the death of shame in America. These people are making William Hung look like Pavarotti. Just imaging Bai doing a duet with Little Mr Hung.. neither one can even pronounce “she bang” much less do it on key. (Okay just reread that one and the mental images alone will keep me up nights for weeks.. my eyes, my eyes.) And the littlest Guido there, if his Grandad was alive he’d have to start whacking family members just to try and recoup the family honor. Sad, painful and funny at the same time.

    Priceless.

Did Bai Ling have an orgasm at the end of “Summer Lovin’????” I think I like her “buuuut…..OH!” better than that Scientology fffffreak John Revolta.

Bai’s Summer Lovin’ performance was 2005′s moment of televised nirvana. By the end I was up off the couch and screaming heaps of praise, my hands raised on high, then finally bowing down to the glory of Bai.

Just had someone walk in my office I was laughing so hard. She is just a crack-up. I guess she doesn’t get embarressed easily. Good for her :)
