Pirate Master, Mark Burnett’s vanity reality project that he sold to CBS as a “Survivor on a pirate ship” that was going to coast to success in the wake of Pirates of The Caribbean but turned out to be Shenanigans in cute pirate costumes, has finally been scuttled, sunk, cut adrift and sent off in that little dinghy– and canceled.
CBS will burn off the remaining five episodes online, with a new one every Tuesday (good choice, since the show flopped on Thursdays and died on Mondays).

    I’m sorry, but Mark Burnett is not the king of Reality TV.

    I’m shocked, *SHOCKED* that this show was cancelled.

    I mean, a show about pirates? But real people? I thought it was going to be TV gold.
