why hasn’t anyone slapped ann yet? whyyyy? or, rather, how do they have such self-control?

my real wish is for ann to hit one of the other moms, so the cops can get involved and her sorry ass can get dragged to jail and she can see what happens when she tries to mouth off to the big girls.

Ok, here is 2 things about the episode…there might be more :)

1-Ann needs to bring it down a notch or two…we have all seen the episodes, and not once have I seen Torran do anything at practice. She is always just sitting around doing nothing.

2-WTF Alicia! I get that you wanted to try something different. That was actually pretty neat. Although Cass and her partner were totally out of sync you could tell they were having fun. But Why wouldn’t you have a couple back ups for the girls? If Diamond was as hurt as we were to believe, why wouldn’t you have a back up for her?? Was it that they were in specific age groups what? That make no sense to me! Throw in a few back ups, Explain that they are able to go, but might be benched…

3-why would only 1 mom go? Yes I know Alicia and RD were there, but it looked like Andrea had to share a room with 5 girls…and really aren’t these girls at the age where they know how to put on eyeliner?? shit never mind, I am 33 and just to basics if I wear make up. Or someone else does it for me..

4-Madelyne27-Michelle was in the episode, just the first few minutes…
Looking forward to the full cap-

A lot of the time the parents cannot afford or are able to travel with their kids to every competition. My mom did not go with me on the out of town ones. Our dance teacher would take us and the few moms that went would look out for the other girls. When you have other kids at home or a job or low funds it makes more sense that way to send one or two moms and the coach to watch out for all the kids.

Did anyone else notice that huge candy bowl behind Ann in her talking heads? I did. Explains a lot. Even though I envy that candy bowl. Envy! I don’t have a huge candy bowl for a reason. I would eat it all till I puked. I have no self control.

Torann is not that good. Definitely not as good as the girls that went. Talent and skill is just that. Friendship and how much you do etc has nothing to do with that. Plus Ann does not even do that much as per Andrea. She is unorganized and bitchy. I think Andrea will be a better organizer. You know it will make Ann pissed though. What kind of upbringing did that woman have so that she thinks she must always be the end all be all of everything and her shit don’t stink?!

I noticed Kylie was actually well behaved and being cute on this episode when Torann was not around to be a bad influence. So there you go. That room with 5 girls was more calm then that room with just Torann and one other girl. Jesus.

First the 31 bag and now that pink fuzzy robe!? Why do I have the same things as Ann?! I am going to have to burn my house to the ground and start from scratch. HAH!!!

I really like Alicia and RD. I mean they are amazing coaches. They way they talk to the girls and calm them down and encourage them. It is like so different than the Abby Lee way of coaching am I right? I think Alicia is so pretty. She is gorgeous and I find myself just staring at her during her talking heads. I might have a girl crush on her.

And okay I don’t want to be mean, but Torrey finally speaks and OMG WTF!!!!!!!! His voice. LOL! Plus Torann did not seem to care less that she did not make that team. Ann cared more than Torann did.

Oh yeah and did everyone catch Kylie’s racist but hilarious comment? She said something about being a crushed oreo and I was laughing because she was the white girl in between two black girls. Or maybe that just makes me racist to think that? Oh well!

@April- I giggled at Kylie’s oreo remark…I think she was just being funny….Andrea telling her daughter she wished she was black, so she didn’t have to do her makeup, that took it a bit to far…

Also, I know one of the girls left her makeup at home…Diamond I think, or the other one-for got her name—but shouldn’t all the girls have their own makeup. Especially eye makeup??

Yes, I agree that Torran looked like she didn’t give a shit that she didn’t get to go…I think gymnastics is something that Ann makes her do, not something that Torran wants to do…it also sounds like they pay more for Torran to be on Youth Silver. Torrey said that if she stops paying extra money then They wouldn’t have to put up with the youth Silver crap…

Bonnie Is totes a Pageant mom..!! Yeah I know she is a Pageant Director, but she told Alanna that the more she practices the better she will be, the better she is, the better her chance of YS. That is total Pageant Mom…practice, practice, practice and you will get what you want. Plus Alanna had that total Pageant duck lipped smile going on…

gotokeepitreal: aww thanks. I love all the recappers on this site. I could not do as good as job as them. Sometimes I am funny but I can’t pull it off consistently!

Does anyone think Alana really doesn’t give a crap about making Youth Silver and that Bonnie is the one who cares? When she kept pressuring her to do that back handspring in the living room on the mat and was getting testy about it I thought, why doesn’t your fat bossy ass get up and do one if it’s so easy? With all the private lessons she keeps blathering about that kid doesn’t seem like she’s progressed all that much. Methinks all the practice in the world isn’t going to get her on YS, she just doesn’t have a talent for tumbling. Considering I could never do as much as a cartwheel as a kid, I can sympathize.
Ann is just awful…unbelievable. Something is really wrong with her and she does NOT hold back with what she says around her daughter, either. She seems to have no filter and have the emotional maturity of a 6 year old, which is pretty much what Shannon said after their “argument” – and I agree. Bitch be cray!

I was never a tumbler. I HAD my standing backhandspring. HAD it. The spot was just holding out a finger. But the second he walked away and I tried it alone, I fell on my head. I just had a mental block about it. I was too scared of hurting myself. Wimp. I think some people just have that where even if they can physically do it, the mental is not there.

I see some of that in Alana to be doing that many privates (Which I did too) and it looked like she kinda does have it, but is not progressing. She just may never be able to do it.

@April- I have a girl crush on Alisha as well. I am always so mesmerized by her perfect skin and teeth!
I had to stop watching Dance Moms, because Abby is just too awful for me now. She is the WORST. It is nice to see Alisha and RD being good coaches by encouraging them rather than discouraging them like Abby does.

I wonder if Ann is at all embarrassed that her husband (Torrey?) had to have all his talking captioned so we could read what he was saying? well, for that matter, I wonder if he was embarrassed? Why on Earth do those 2 think that because Ann is team mom or whatever that their daughter should have gone for the solo/duet/trio stunts????? You have to have the talent not the parental involvement. I agree those girls are old enough to be doing their own eyeliner/ makeup and should certainly not be sharing it! yikes….I think the producers told them to all pretend like they needed Andrea to do it so they could dream up a story line. First acting like she didn’t have any idea what to do, then 2 minutes later all the girls come running out with hair and make up immaculate!

I was never a gymnast but I think it would have been impossible for anyone to do a handspring on that tiny mat! You can tell that little girl has no interest in making that team……sigh…..between this and Dance moms its like watching child abuse run wild. I had to stop watching Toddlers and Tiaras and Dance Moms and only read about them here…looks like Cheer P. is heading that way too…

I have never commented on a site about these guilty pleasure shows that I watch – but Ann and Andrea are two of the most repulsive, horrific creatures that I have ever seen. How can these two not be so humiliated by their actions? Ann, aside from being physically revolting with her three chins and Donald Trump comb-over, is without a doubt one of the most repulsive personalities that has ever lit up the screen. Lady (and I use that term very loosely), who do you think you are? Your sense of entitlement and cocky attitude are so over the top that it’s comical. She proclaims herself the queen bee of the gym, and yet she is so lazy it’s painful to watch. She couldn’t be bothered to even buy a posterboard? She insults children, and basically anyone she comes in to contact with. God how I so wish that one of these women would punch her in her face.

If you can believe it, Andrea may be worse than Ann. I really hope that she watches the show and has secured a psychiatrist. Where to start? The incredibly bizarre way that she gets so nervous about everything. She has no sense of what is appropriate to share with people and what isn’t. I get mortified every time that she is on the screen – and those crazy, crazy bug eyes. She looks absolutely deranged – when she was cheering (which is another bizarre thing) that bow in her hair – she looked like whatever happened to baby jane!!! d. She is so backstabbing and instigating – and to what end? To be the team mother????? Lady, take those crazy bug eyes and do something productive instead of re-living your youth at a cheer gym. If I were her husband (my gaydar isn’t even going to go there) I would demand that she either drove herself to competitions, or took a tranquilizer bullet prior to getting in the car. And idiot, no one wants to hear that you pee yourself…tmi. Any normal kid would be completely mortified by these two, but as we’ve seen, the kids aren’t much better.

Alisha and RD (sorry my gaydar is beeping again) may be good coaches, but after witnessing the pond scum that they attract, I don’t know how they have any customers.
