Ann pulls Torrann into the locker room to smack the shit out of her make sure Torrann knows how much mom needs her to make YST. Torrann whispers that she wants a slushie. (I bet Mom Ann does too.) Ann

interviews that a few years back, Alisha had told Ann that Torrann wasn’t as good as Ann thought she was. Torrann said she’d try her hardest and then whispers “okay, now money please”. Exactly Torrann. Food and cash… get it in writing.

Finally we get to spend a brief moment with Mandy Stucky and Olivia. Both very cute and look like anyone in their family would have to excel at some sport. Mandy just seems like the mom that would spend her Saturdays yelling at umpires, running concession stands, and being a tennis line judge all at the same time. I don’t see her as a pageant mom. Too physically fit. Olivia has been part of the Cheer Team Revolution family for three years. Olivia is nervous because she’s trying something new in becoming a flyer. Mom wants her to be flyer because you’re seen more and it’s just a prestigious spot. (As a lifelong ‘base’, I have no idea what it feels like to be a flyer… I was the sturdy one with thighs that skinny girls could climb like trees.)

Shannon and Brooke are finally heading to a spine doctor. Brooke, 13, is scared that she might have to have surgery. Mom interviews that Brooke hasn’t been able to tumble for a long time. It’s neat to see Dad Bill waiting at the hospital. They do seem like a nice family. Mom Shannon is reassuring and nice to Brooke as they wait. I’m sure they’re all scared; no parent is comfortable in this type of situation. Shannon shows soft side and cries. But then projects her own vicarious needs and says “I know how important it is to her”… I call bullshit, unless by “her” she means herself… (because I’ve seen the entire episode).

Alisha interviews as she drives around in her minivan that it’s impossible to balance gym, family, and life. Cut to the gym, and we learn that Cassidee is big risk taker. Now cut to Cassidee falling hard on what appears to be her face. Thankfully she just hurt her finger; but she’s upset and crying and wants to go home. Mr. Coach, RD, has to call Alisha first to see if she approves. I’m impressed when Alisha says she’s on her way. I was hoping betting that she would tell RD to tell Cassidee to suck it up and do 50 round- offs.

Back at the Arkansas Children’s Hospital (where low IQs go to be born), Brooke is finished with her x- rays and we find Shannon (still) crying. Mom Shannon tells Brooke that she’s crying because she knows how much it will upset Brooke if she can’t cheer/tumble. Mom asks Brooke how she feels about the upcoming tryouts and Brooke (sounding like every 13 year old teenager being forced into her mom’s passion) says “there’s not much I can do”. Brooke’s not crying, hell, she doesn’t even looking remotely upset by the possibility that she will be forced to retire her tumbling career at such a young age.

    Ya know Shannon— ole Cawfee is no doctor but am pretty sure that your daughter losing weight will help her back and um…..am pretty sure all the doctors you went to “that found nothing wrong” with your daughter also told you she needs to lose weight. Coach never told her to slim down?????

    “drunk hair”–bbwwaahhaaahhaaaaaaaaa—classic-she looks bombed!!! And yet with a touch of Duchess Sarah Ferguson!!

    Torrann bears watching–she let the flyer drop?? Just “let her drop”–shudders…..this kid has “serial killer in training” written all over her.

    What is up with Bonnie and her daughter (Olivia??) being called by their surname??? For this reason only I am giving the Stuckey gals a few weeks so I can get to know them better–I see Momma Bonnie’s intensity and get that her kid chokes at the moment of truth in competition.
    As a gal who takes her wine in a pint glass ( er…….less tippy that way) she should have had a wine spritzer to be cordial and given them a little more time. But obvi she isnt whoring for face time so—-BRAVO Bonnie–good for you.

    Oh Shannon–how much sabotage will you do to your daughter??????

    I just got done watching the episode from last night…. oh my we are in for a treat…

    I remember all the moms from T&T and that is all I can think of.

    Is it just me, or does it seem so wrong that there are such tiny girls on the Silver team. Alicia’s daughter Cambree is on the silver team. But she is like 5 and looks like she weighs less then a 20 pound sack of potatoes! Must be why she is a “flyer”

    Shannon is the shit stirrer of the bunch! Yeah your daughter could stand to loose some weight. I was a thick 13 year old. By the time I reached high school it all seemed to even out. Then again I was not trying to do back hand springs. I was that chunky kid in ballet and tap, but I was having fun…

    Time for me to throw my 2 cents in about this OVERLY STAGED, and VERY FAKE show! My daughter attends CTR. This WHOLE show is a scam! These mothers are all friends ALTHOUGH, Bonnie, Ann, and Michelle really do have a love/hate relationship. Ann is EXACTLY how she is being shown….there is no acting there. Torrann is the gym BRAT!! Ann/Torrann have run off some very talented girls from the CTR gym because of they are both downright bitches!! This gym is NOT like this at all! The YST wasn’t a team that had ryouts, they just did that for the show. This is a team made up of kids who wanted to be on TV. The VERY BEST OF THE BEST at that gym will not be featured because those parents had common sense by not exploiting their girls! The drama is staged! The producers asked for and got what they wanted. They even did several takes of some scenes until it seemed elievable! I can reassure everyone that there are lots of kids in that gym that are way more talented than the girls featured! I hate that you only get to see the fat, psychotic moms….and their poor daughters who are following very close in their footsteps!

    Please please dish!! Even though it is fake, I am still going to watch!! Alicia was cray-cray when she was on T & T, so were Bonnie and Anne. Of course they want to be on tv again. This is probably the only way for them to do it…

    I guess i always know things are so staged and anyone who agrees to have a film crew follow them around is clearly a brick short… but i’m so glad they are…

    As a cheer mom this show makes me laugh and makes me cry. First of all, this is NOT an elite team! These kids MIGHT be a level 2 on a good day. To make an “elite” team you have to have a back handspring?! Seriously?! My daughter is on an level 5 team and they have to be able to do a standing full. Lets film a team of that caliber and I’ll watch all day long. Second that coaches screeching is enough to make me stick an icepick in my own eardrums! I can’t take it. This show is a JOKE!

    @Pageantlurker… I knew it… WOW.. how fake they are.. This show sucks but I will still watch it to see what else kind of fools they make of themselves. Ridicoulous and acting like children. That shit is not cute,, I am sorry.. this show wont last long.
    @Frizzypop.. I so agree.. Where I am from our kids would kick their asses. The ONLY one that would even compare to our elite team would be Cassidee. If she is showing this group and thinking they are something WOW.. you are dumber than I thought you were Alisha. They suck and so does your show!! But loving these recaps!!

    Did anyone else see the show \Cheer!\ On CMT? (I think that was the name). I was hoping this show would be like that…actually about cheerleading. Watching grown women bully and antagonize each other like mean, insecure 11 year olds (especially Ann with her ring of neck fat) is not entertainment. It’s ugly and depressing.

    I’m not sure about Cheer! But there used to be a show Cheerleader Nation… I honestly thought that Cheer Perfection would have the staged drama we’ve all come to expect, but I thought they would be better. Like other commenters said, they are awful. Not an elite squad at all…

    Haha I’m an RN and totally thought Ann must be on blood pressure meds as well! Torann better keep up with Cheerleading or any physical activity bc she comes from not promising genes. It drives me crazy when things come so easy to people who don’t want it as much as others do. Torann appears to care less.

    I am also terrified to fall backwards. Could do a front flip and front handspring as a kid/teen, but never a back handspring without a spot and I was always terrified when doing back walkovers, despite never falling while doing one. Alana should have told her mom that Bonnie should try it first to see how she likes falling on her head since that is what Alana seems to do whenever she tries it by herself.

    P.s. yes the girls on the show Cheer were really good. I enjoyed that program and hope it returns, despite the owner being on the slightly obnoxious side of Jersey stereotypes.

    P.p.s. Please don’t shove me off the chair Madelyne! although I like gossip too :-) Loved your take on the EE names. I have a friend who has an EE name and named her daughter an EE name, so it cracked me up and now I want to start calling her Mommee.

    Ugh, that silver team was B A D bad! ugh! Poor little no-backhandspring couldn’t even have made the CTR tin team, wtf was her mom thinking she could make the silver? Yikes. Also, the chunky one still needs to lose weight and still obviously doesn’t love to cheer. Several of these kids don’t seem to enjoy what they are doing. Pageant lurker, I’m glad to know that this team is a total farce because I was lmao that they were \delusiona\ enough to think this team was high level. I do get a kick out of coach and so far I like the brunette mom with the girl that is pretty good.

    Pageant lurker, also curious if “poor little no-backhandspring” has gotten one since last night’s episode? My daughter who was a high-level gymnast thinks that girl will never get it.

    No back handspring for Alana yet! Bonnie is seriously one egg short of a dozen! She and Ann are NUTS! I could dish dirt on Ann ALL day long. She is a total whack job and so is her kid!

    @hot cawfee….Actually Bonnie is just very vivacious! She is just an upbeat person, and not a drunk LOL….she just has nervous ticks I think ;-) Torrann is just a spoiled brat, all courtesy of her mother and father! She is just used to getting her way, and I think the child has no heart at all…its all about her BUT you can’t really blame her, I mean, you see what she is being raised by!

    1) Bonnie is a pageant director, and both Torrann and Cassadee have competed in her pageants. Odd, isnt it?
    2) the baby’s name is Chanlee (with a c and ee)
