    There’s an article in People magazine where she said that she felt like she was fired because they just didn’t renew her contract. Felt? You were fired bich!

    Now Elizabeth needs to go. She annoys the hell out of me. I like her less than Star actually.

    While I am grateful to B-Side for catching this breaking story and providing this riveting ClipGasm, I do have to wonder what he was doing watching “The View”?

    Is anyone else feeling the Upset in TVLandia lately? First Peter Jenniings, Ted Koeppel, Dan Rather, then Katie and Meredith… now Star??? Who shall I look to in order to bring me the trusted news and opinions I NEED regarding Iraq, the Oil Crisis and TomKat?

    My guess…
    She will try and do a talk show geared towards black culture. Oprah just got reamed for not embracing rappers- Star will jump on it. It will end up on some third rate network, because none of the big networks will be interested in hiring her.
    This is my prediction…

    There is something oddly freakish about her. I’ve seen this when really fat people lose a lot of weight fast. They have a tendency to looks like aliens when the process is complete.

    I never watched these 4 Yentas yuck it up, for fear of it driving me insane.

    I am sick of hearing about Star and all her bullshit, so glad she got her tired, and now boney, ass fired. I do enjoy when celebrities are publicly humiliated! Especially this twat!

    Didn’t we first hear about this ages ago? Kind of like the “big” announcement all said in one breath, “Rosie is joining the View and Star will be leaving.” I didn’t realize that she was just announcing this today. Old news, Star. Move on.

    Nice dig at Rosie at the beginning. You know Joy is jumping for joy that this day has finally come. She didnt even bother to try and look like she gave a crap. I have tried many times but cant get past 5 minutes of this crap, and I’ll watch just about anything.

    Agree with you KatiesH, she looked better fat.

    I know that we are getting to the bottom of this thread and this probably won’t get read, but I just have to comment about The View today…
    HOLY CRAP!
    Basically, in a nutshell, Babs announced that ABC was not going to renew Stars contract, that she was canned, that her announcement yesterday was sprung on them (they wanted her to basically lie after she got a new job and come on and announce that she was leaving because she wanted to- not because they were letting her go).
    So this is how I see it- (and keep in mind, I don’t like Star Jones)… Barbara Walters is an evil tyrant who has to be in control and have the last word (YOU KNOW she was fumin’ yesterday when Star made that announcement without any warning).
    Anyway, I found it interesting… we are all so busy hating on Star Jones, that we didn’t necessarily see the big picture (that being that Barbara Walters is most likely one cold bitch).

    Yeah, you’re definitely right about that. But I still think Barbara Walters was probably furious that Star announced it without giving a chance for Barbara to prepare what she wanted to say. It caught her off guard and so she announced this morning that Star really got canned from ABC. Although, I guess this is all a moot point, because actually Star was the one who blabbed it to People last night.
    Who the hell knows- I’m glad she’s gone, though. She is a self-pretentious opportunist.

    Good points derder. Barbara Walters must be a real control freak. Like if she can’t control how it appears that Star is ousted from the show, then she will make sure she gets the last word about it. I think they’re all psycho on that show.

    Star Jones decides to leave the show on her own terms ..let’s see..in a month, without telling anyone, even the people writing her paycheck, until she publicly announces it to a few million viewers, without allowing her costars to respond candidly. ABC, and perhaps Babwa..are pissed that Star stuck it to them..and excercise THEIR power by firing her. i hate corporations..but if you are going to play hard ball be prepared. Statements like hers are made through publicists or lawyers to the corporation and NOT with terms like..”i hate working here and i hate the new employee…but..i’ll keep working for another month and pretend to like her..you won’t mind will you?” Negotiate, or try to negotiate and then quit…or..just quit. What she did was self serving but then again it’s Star Jones..ex-pundit from court tv..
