Treasure Hunters, 7/10/06 & 7/17/06, NBC

Back in the day (ie. three weeks ago), we used to cover Treasure Hunters, but the general lameness of the show coupled with our dwindling free time meant that we had to prematurely drop the recaps (for now, at least). That’s not to say we’re not still watching. We’ve been keeping an eye on this poorly-executed series for any signs of life, and after the past two episodes have been mildly less boring than usual, we might just see if we can squeeze in a recap from time to time. That being said, enjoy this montage of Kayte Fogal’s journey through a Southern swamp. She makes Flo from Amazing Race 3 seem like an angel…

    Did she really need to scream like that? I didn’t see an alligator chewing on her leg or something scary like that, just her walking by trees and in some mud. God. I can’t wait for Amazing Race 10 & Phil!!!

    Even though the show sucks, I, for one, really miss the recaps.

    This girl is such a trainwreck. It’s hard to believe that she’s 24 (or is it 25).

    I knew you wouldn’t be able to resist Kayte’s hissyfit. Yes, mountain_girl, she’s 25 years old- in body anyway.

    I hope she watches this show and is embarassed by how she acted on national TV. Most people stop behaving like that before they turn 8.

    What a drama queen. Would of been funny if she went face first into the mud. I love the ‘go on without me’ line, like she’s in the Poseidon Adventure in a upside down cruise ship….

    Looks like a Prozac moment. Instead of arguing with her, they should have just said, “Ok, no sweat. We didn’t want you with us anyway.”
