    I loved the Heidi cameo, too. I remember when I was watching that, I wasn’t really paying that much attention, and she said, “But first,” and honestly I jumped in my chair and yelled “KLUMBOT!”

    I’m mad I read the comments first, if I hadn’t known about the “But James” it would have been about 11 or 12 times funnier.

    Compared to the other montage, for some reason, Chenbot doesn’t seem so enthused this time around. Am I wrong? Only in the purple shirt and when Howie is straddling the spiderweb is there a hint of joy in the Chenbot’s voice.

    I must say though the Chenbotgasm at the end was pretty much awesome.

    Let be known that I didn’t do anything to manipulate the audio during the multiple on-screen Chenbot shots. That audio is the audio she’s saying in each panel. So when the screen is divied up into nine sections, you are actually hearing nine sets of stereo audio tracks. Of course, since she delivers the line exactly the same each time, it just sounds like a faint echo. That’s why we love the Chenbot: robotic precision at its best.

    Hilarious update on the all time classic. BTW if you Google “But First” you end up right here at the ‘Gasm. You could always throw in some “Today” show “but firsts” as well. They say it more there than the Chenbot. Every time they throw it to the local channels for news updates, they say “but first, this is Today” . . .

    I like to leave watching the “But First” montage until after the season…so I just caught this.

    The end of that reminded me of those scenes in Star Trek Voyager when they’d pan out on the Borg ship to reveal millions of Borg drones, all saying “Resistance is Futile.”
