Hey everybody, how much do you love Julie Chen? When we started TVgasm, we made it our mission to make sure everybody knew how wonderful our Chenbot was. She is frequent topic of our admiration, and we like to think that we helped immortalize “But First” into the entertainment lexicon. Recently, we’ve had evidence that this love is a two-way street. Julie refers to herself as the Chenbot, and even bought some of our Chenbot mugs for her home. Today, the power of the Chenbot holds no bounds, and while there are some who may try to imitate her, they can never duplicate her (high praise for a robot).

    Yay TVGasm!

    I loved the clip, and I also loved how Julie stated, “There’s only one [Chenbot], that would be me…”

    As if ANYONE ON THIS PLANET EARTH could even come close to the greatness that is Julie Chen.

    The ultimate moment of zen: the Chenbot sitting down w/ TVGasm for an interview (or vice versa). I predict this will happen before the end of this season. Congrats guys. Nice to see our love for the Chenbot is requited.

    I can’t stop watching that clip, and as HicksPub (#11) commented, I raised my hands in triumph at the same time as Chenbot.

    PS: Love how those three anchors got SCHOOLED by Chenbot. “You guys have lots of work to do!”

    I can’t understand how someone who is a TV host–a job that requires you to be natural and warm on camera–would be flattered by the attention she is receiving for being a robot. I’d be so embarrassed that I would try to actually improve my delivery and gestures. I guess if you are married to Moonves you can do whatever you want.

She’s flattered b/c she knows that we LOVE her for it, and love translates into more people viewing her said chentasticness thusly increasing the ability for her to keep ‘bot-ing’ it up on many more BB seasons. Plus- i hear Les gives it to her good after every taping.

    Julie has also been quoted as embracing her inner Chen-bot(TV Guide’s spelling) in this week’s (8/7-8/13) issue of TV Guide on page 51 in a Q & A with Julie Chen.

    Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but even Wikipedia has embraced the Chenbot. Do a search under Chenbot and it brings up the entry for Julie Chen.

    I’ve been “lurking” for weeks now – haven’t posted in forever, but I HAD to post today to say that THIS IS AWESOME! Love it, guys!!! I had no idea she knew about Chenbot – and now I think I actually like her. (sorry guys, never really did before – she drove me nuts)
