The past few days, we’ve been having some frivolous fun with our journeys to Laguna Beach, but today, we’ve decided to get serious and expose something very disturbing about this seemingly idyllic community. Despite what the MTV reality show would have us believe, we discovered that there are actually non-white, non-pretty, and non-wealthy people that live IN LAGUNA BEACH! I know, it’s shocking. Be prepared for some truly eye-opening footage.

    That American Eskimo Dog was the best looking thing in that clip. Um, OK, except maybe for B-Side and J-Unit :-)

    wow, the plot thickens! they’ve been screwing w/ us all along, there’s more than just WASPs there?!?! wtf??!! huh, imagine that?! ok, that’s a hell of a lot of ?! in one comment… Laguna brings out the greatest in all of us, esp. baton/cane twirlers

    is it wrong that i was more entertained by that shot with the guitar player, zz top, and cheerleader/marine than i was with last week’s LB episode? i think mtv may have gone slightly awry with their casting for the new season….

    hey also, nice snapping action at the end guys, that shit takes some skill

    I saw waterbottle in the cluthches of the zztop homelessman. I hope there was a rescue right away or maybe that was her sleezey cousin who will hydrate anyone.

    I think a show focusing on a dozen narcissitic homeless Laguna denizens would actually be more entertaining than LB… perhaps the 2 shows could be combined…

    Meanwhile, back at the dumpster…

    The guy with the cane seemed like a wannabe ‘Laguna Greeter’ who I believe was a homeless man living in Laguna in the 60′s who would stand in the middle of the Coast Highway and shake his cane and shout at passing cars. I remember driving back and forth – hanging out of the car window shouting back at him. He became quite an icon in LB. I think the City gave him some sort of platform and he would greet the incoming cars on the highway. I also believe LB has a statue dedicated to him in the middle of Coast Highway??? It’s been so long since I’ve been through LB……

    J-Unit and B-Side, your clips are better and full of more drama, gossip and homegrown music than MTV’s LB……I think they could take some story lines from the two of you. I hope the story will continue!

    Yeah, The ‘Guna is a bit more diverse than producers would have you believe. Locals refer to this segment of the population as either, “The Homeless”, or “The Help”.

    This was pure gold…LOVE this clip!!!

    But is it me, or does the guna have some pretty clean homeless people – compared to LA and NY anyway.

    BTW, I second the comment about this being better than the actual show – watch out MTV/BM.

    this clipgasm thing is nice. as im gearing up for LB tonight, i realize that i havent really had to suffer all week because im getting these little b-side j-unit clips to fill the void in between episodes. it’s like that diet plan where you eat small meals in between.

    At first I missed having an update on the first episode of LB but after watching all the clips of B-Side and J-Unit in the actual Laguna, I realized they’re MUCH BETTER than this season is going to be. Any way we can download these clips? I showed my friend the Laguna “opening” on they did and she spit ice coffee all over my monitor. These are FREAKING HILARIOUS! Keep ‘em coming!!!! B-Side is ADORABLE!

    Also found in Laguna Beach: bitter jealous high school kids who were snubbed in casting. Overheard while visiting: “God, there’s a picture of that stupid Dieter kid from that stupid show. God . . . “
