Far be it from me laugh at the plight of sexagenarians, but when I saw Fran bungee jump on this week’s episode of The Amazing Race, I couldn’t stop chuckling. I think it was very brave of Fran to conquer her fears, but how can you not giggle when she does that “AWWRAGHHSHSRUP!” after she makes the leap? And the soundtrack is pure Amazing Race excitement. OK, maybe I’m just an asshole, but it still amuses me.

I think this was one of the few times on this show when the bungee jumper was still scared and upset after the jump. Usually they’re glad they did it and thought it was exciting. It was obvious from Fran’s face that was not how she felt!

Sounded like she choked on a pretzel or something.

Haha, I was laughing, but sort of scared too because I thought that Fran’s frail body might break in half or something.

This is exactly why, though i love roller coaster, I avoid the ones with big drops. I make that same awful gutteral scream and it is NOT attractive. Poor lady.

I had to wait to get to work in order to see this video. Completely worth the wait. My gopher mates in the adjacent cubicles had to come see what made me laugh out loud. Now they are enjoying the gutteral chokings of Fran.
