America’s Got Talent, 6/21/06, NBC

The entire concept behind America’s Got Talent is incredibly dubious, as evidenced by this scene which shows a “Rappin’ Granny” gettin’ her freestyle on. Her performance is entertaining for a variety of reasons; however, I think the best part of this clip is David Hasselhoff’s finger-snappin’ hip-hop groove, not to mention his “Go Granny! Go Granny!” chant towards the end. Now that’s what I call talent!

    Hasselhoff isn’t even swaying or snapping fingers on beat! LoL. Granny got some skills though! :P It makes me miss my own grandma soooo much.

    I’m no fan of rap music, but Gran’ was one of the more entertaining acts that night.

    Although I’m pretty sure that this is the fourth sign of the Apocalypse, she’s still pretty cute. Much better than the Wedding Singer version anyways.

    Are you guys seeing what that girl is wearing to the right of Hasselhoff? The two of them together are like some sort of frightening early 90s flashback.
