25 years ago, I was 4 years old and watching Elvis’ 68 comeback special on tv, not realizing it was an old show. I ditched dinner so that I could keep watching this guy sing, I was absolutely mesmerized. When I found out that it was not only a rerun, but the guy was dead I was just annoyed. I remember watching this show at four years old like it was yesterday, something about this guy was just compelling. That night an Elvis fan was born. . . What does that have to with TVgasm?
When i got an email asking to promote ELVIS: The Mini-Series DVD (now available in stores) I felt a sense of duty. So I have 5 copies for giveaway, less the one I will keep for myself, so I have 4 copies for giveaway and the contest will be very easy and first come first serve. I fancy myself a bit of the obsessive fan (or at least was growing up, kinda grown out of the phase) but i know a lot about Elvis. The first four people to send me Elvis trivia question that stumps me (I’m not allowed to google) will get the DVDs. Don’t send me things about his still born twin brother Jesse Garon, cause Ill know it. And don’t bother asking me what name he stayed under when he traveled because any lay fan can tell you its Sivle Noraa (Elvis Aaron backwards). . make them good. First 4 stumpers get the dvd for free! The rest of you can buy Elvis: The Mini-Series on DVD now in stores. The all star cast includes a very non-Elvisy Jonathan Rhys Meyers, a Maternal Camryn Manheim as Gladys, Randy Quaid playing Colonel Tom Parker and Rose McGowen as an oddly cast Ann-Margret.
Send your email to Madeyoulaugh@tvgasm.com subject “Elvis.”
Contest ends when I’ve been stumped by 4 different people!
