TVgasm Hands Out Free Stuff

As I am sure all of you know by now, TVgasm loves its readers. We may be late with recaps during those times when we are silly enough to spend time on things like our spouses, girlfriends, boyfriends, work, social life, civic responsibilities, etc., but really it’s still all about the readers. Sometimes our readers don’t always love us, but we still can’t help but to do things for them. It’s tough, but if we ever want to get married to Tom Sizemore or Charlie Sheen, we can consider ourselves prepared.

Recently, we held two contests for DVD giveaways. One for Smallville and one for The OC. The contest was open to everybody (in the US or Canada) and all we asked was that you tell us your favorite moments from each season. Winners were determined by pooling all of the emails in chronological order and then picking random numbers do determine the winners. Hear from the winners after the jump.

The OC Season 2 DVD

Most of the people who entered liked the Spiderman kiss with Seth and Summer, followed closely by Lindsay leaving the show. TVgasm readers hated that bitch.

Reader LM – “I loved Kirsten’s final confrontation with Caleb. I’m embarrassed to admit how many times I’ve re-enacted the line “I may enjoy a glass of chardonnay but I will not die alone, which is more than I can say for you!!”

When told of the win, LM said:

“I can’t wait to relive my favourite moments, such as Kirsten’s drunken rants (“I may enjoy a glass of Chardonnay…”), Marissa’s short-lived lesbian awakening, Ryan’s attempt at nice-guy, brainiac status, Seth and Summer’s “Fix You” prom reunion, and the final scene of Trey dying (or what I thought was dying)…oh how I miss the happy-go-lucky days of Season 2.”

Reader JSt - When Seth says, “I’m gonna go. I think ‘Best Week Ever’s on.”

After hearing the good news JS said:

“Ahhh! Thank you! I’ve never won anything before. Not a lottery, a race, a game, my parents’ respect! THANK YOU. I LOVE TVGASM and I’m having one right now!”

Reader JSe – “Julie Cooper-Nichol’s 80′s porn. I want to be Julie Cooper-Nichol when I grow up.”

JS was particularly excited when she won, saying:

“I would like to let you know I just ran laps around the law office thanks to you. My giant love mammals gave all the male attorneys a show they will never forget. Not only do I thank you because watching tapes of OC really hurt my vision (im too poor for tivo and the quality of my 1986 video cassette player blows donkey schlong.) my office thanks you for making me excited. WORD to my fellow TVgasmers.”

Smallville Season 4 DVD

Most TVgasm readers seem to enjoy moments of hotness featuring Tom Welling (Clark), Kristin Kreuk (Lana), or Erica Durance (Lois). Michael Rosenbaum (Lex) also had his share of fans.

Reader VB – “My favorite moments from the season were anytime there was possession of another’s body. Whenever the evil countess possessed Lana. It was the only time the girl had any personality. And the episode where the countess’s sidekick possessed Lois and Chloe and we found Chloe had lost the big V. And who could forget the episode where Lionel and Clark switched bodies?”

When told of the win, VB said:

“I am so excited I won the DVDs. Yea me! Clark and Chloe forever!”

Reader TC – My favorite moment from season 4 or I guess from all seasons is everytime clark aka superman takes off his shirt.

After winning, TC wanted to say:

Reader NH – My favorite Smallville moment is everytime Tom Welling takes off his shirt. And when the alien looking Lana has some sort of nervous breakdown for the umpteenth time. I really dislike that bitch. The end.
