Hola Gasmii and welcome to Episode 6 of the esteemed production Couples Therapy, wherein all of our wishes are granted and Courtney and Doug (I refuse to say Dourtney) finally exit the building. THANK GOD!
The episode starts off with the good ol’ Doc trying to find Courtney an acceptable outfit to wear, which she still manages to make look really slutty, although that is nothing compared to how slutty she looks coming on to Nik right in front of Doug, who shrugs it off with an, Aw That Courtney! She’s So Crazy!
At therapy, the whole group comes at her “Pollyanna in a thong” routine, the Doc backs them up, and they continue to pretend that they are the perfect couple with no issues.
It all comes to a head when Court shows up at the house in a hot pink top and bikini bottoms and declares herself Erin Brokovitch, an activist and crusader for polyester and pink lip gloss.
I’m an activist for assholes. So, nyah
The best part about that scene is how the entire house is eavesdropping on them . . .
Our next group activity is eavesdropping on the horrible twosome’s eviction party!
The group absolutely cracks me up with their one liners tonight, especially Tiny: “I’m tired of seein’ the bitches ass cheeks. I’m tryin’ to do THERAPY!”
It’s just seven shades of awesome, and I couldn’t be more excited to see these asshats leave. Especially because Tiny’s serious opening up about a past trauma doesn’t need that kind of bullshit around belittling her therapy experience.

That was awesome! I loved how everyone was eavesdropping on them and when Nik tried to pull Shayne away from the door. Alex barging in made no sense to me. And when Courtney was flirting with Nik right in front of Doug was disgusting, but even more disgusting was Doug totally in denial – it was Shayne being negative again. Idiot!
Dr Jenn wasn’t having it – good for her for putting her foot down!
I don’t even watch this crap and I’m glad they’re gone. Think he’ll ever get another legitimate acting job?
I missed this episode, but it sounds awesome! Glad Whoretny and Doug got the boot!
Doug’s face looks like it’s beginning to melt off. Lips shouldn’t droop that way, it’s terrible. And these two make me ill. Her whole schtick is sad and old and I wonder about her parents.
Is something wrong with Courtney’s hips or is it just the way she walks and stands that makes her look weird and jerky? I guess she thinks it’s “sexy” but she kind of just looks like she has some sort of disability or joint problem. Or I guess it could be those stupid shoes. I can’t imagine you could walk normally in those things.
My god am I glad to see them go. I watch a lot of reality tv and I think Doug and Courtney were the first to literally make my stomach churn. It’s a sick relationship on both ends. Doug is so immature for his age that it astounds me. You could really see it when he was drawing his creepy shit on the walls.
They really would have been fascinating if they actually participated in the therapy. It would be interesting to see what sort of atrocities happened to those two to result in that mess of a relationship.
I am liking Shayne & Nik. I think they’re really trying. His website is so douche-y, so I wasn’t expecting to like him at all.
@featherhead: I seriously could NOT stop laughing at how the entire house was listening in with delight at their conversation with Doc. It was so over the top, but I think at that point they’d all just lost their minds with having to put up with her idiocy. Mind you, this was also after the most frustrating group session with a clueless Doug and Courtney, so I can see how they would just be so over the whole thing.
Alex is such a dunce, that was out of line and it cracks me up when sh elashes out b/c she’s so bad at it, it is very out of character for her and I am surprised she didnt break out in hives
@lindaw: I dont think he had very man legitimate acting jobs before this, and I think he even mentions that he is not even hireable right now. He’s been blacklisted.
@Lady Stardust: She walks the way a little kid does when they are trying to do “sexy,” it’s so over the top and rehearsed and ridiculous. And sad. Grrrr. She makes me simultaneously angry and sad for her and then that makes me even more frustrated. Either way, good riddance.
Err, does Courtney not realize Erin Brockovich got famous for something OTHER than walking around with her boobs hanging out? So unless Court Court wants to teach herself environmental toxicology, spend long thankless years fighting massive corporations, getting death threats, and wading around in the mud taking soil samples, and do all of it OFF CAMERA, she can kindly STFU about “saving lives.”
And I feel really bad for the bullied children of America: first they get bullied, and then they have THIS fame whoring lunatic claiming to “represent” them? Talk about adding insult to injury.
I actually do like the other couples, find them very brave to be baring their demons on national TV, and will enjoy watching them go through therapy without those two weirdos sucking all the air out of the room.
I guess no one saw the previews for next week or are we just not talking about it yet? Very, very disappointing. I also thought that walk was exactly like a 10 year old trying to do a sexy walk!
Just had to say, I’m not loving the “Too Short” guy either. The man is nearly 50, he’s made his name and his millions already, and he STILL can’t differentiate between having a normal private life and living as the cartoonish image he’s created 24/7? All of his peers – Dr. Dre, Snoop, Ice Cube etc. – go home to their wives and kids after touring, and he can’t even commit to exclusively dating a good woman who loves him? The “pimp/player” image is just that – an IMAGE – and for someone so old to still be so attached to it is a sign of deeper problems, and frankly looks pathetic.
I think he either has a sex addiction or other serious emotional problems, and is using “Too Short” as a smokescreen to hide behind. I’m surprised the Dr. isn’t grilling him harder about what’s really going on.
WAIT! I didnt catch the previews!!! Going to look now. Stupid DVR
And Too Short has just found a great excuse to be DB for the rest of his life. . .
@ Gretch I wondered the same thing. I didn’t want to spoil anyones good feelings, but sorry folks, Dourtney come back (please forgive me for referring to them as that). But did you really think they were gonna let that trainwreck go. The rest of couples are actually normal, with real issues. Who do we spend most of our comments speaking on. I personally would be fine if they were off my screen forever. My dvr cut off before the show ended which infuriates me, so I recorded it again when it reaired and had my dvr go 10 minutes longer so I was able to see the previews and the good Doc reems the other couples for their behavior. Ehhhhh

Okay okay, I guess I need to seek out spoilers but holy hell – this is depressing. I thought we’d get some good time away from those losers. But truth be told, the comedy gold is in the train wreck that is child bride and her creepy delusional melty faced old husband. (sigh).

Courtney’s brilliant question as to whether Hades is a place brought 2 things to my mind. First, does anyone know if she graduated from high school? Second, has she ever specified exactly how she’s saved lives? Does it have to do with the healing power of laughter for those of us who make fun of her?
Also, I think that even if she weren’t a delusional tramp, it’s completely distructive to the other couples’ therapy to have ANY child that age in the group, and have to pretend to treat her as an equal and take what she says seriously. It borders on malpractice to even have her there. I wouldn’t air my problems to a child.
@Sarcastire: Whaaaaat?! Phaedra and too short. I did not know that. Do you know how old she was at the time?
I absolutely loved Tiny and JoJo in this ep. She was so honest. It really did take a lot of courage to share something that. I like how JoJo held her and cried with her. I thought that was so manly of him as opposed to many other ways in which people can respond. Hate him for not dealing with his addiction, but so impressed with him as a husband.

Yes, I read about it a few years ago. It was everywhere that they dated for years and broke up when she gave him an ultimatum to marry her (or else) and he went with door number two. She also dated Mannie Fresh from Cash Money Millionaires…the chubby one with the afro. Straight hood…but hood rich. lol

Loving Nik & Shayne like the rest of you, and I didn’t expect to. Not sure what to think of Silex cuz RHONY wasn’t one of my things, but her little sharp looking teeth freak me out. I know guys like Too Short, and I feel for FWB. He’s too old to be a pussy hound, but obviously he doesn’t think so. She needs to get the hell on. Tiny and JoJo make my heart hurt. They love each other so much, but he’s clock is ticking down quickly…
Thanks for the great recaps, and @sarcasatire – that Phaedra dirt had me saying “nfw” for about 10 minutes!! Good shit, and it explains a lot about her. Can’t wait to see how she handles someone moving in on her man.
