mayne_eliminatedIt really won’t surprise anybody to learn that Kenny Mayne was eliminated from Dancing With the Stars last night. To his credit, he had a very good attitude about it, blaming the Italian judge, and imploring people not to riot if he was eliminated. I still think Master P. should have been eliminated, if only because he didn’t seem at all interested in performing, but to his credit, he said that he would practice and put in a better performance, which means he may actually practice. One couldn’t help but wonder if the fans voted for Master P in order to keep Ashly Delgrosso around for another week, because Master P’s promise of the gangster cha cha didn’t live up to the hype. Maybe with his new found enthusiasm, he’ll wear some gangster frills or some gangster sequins. Hey, it never hurts to dream.

    Ya know – it hadn’t occurred to me to vote for Master P to save Ashley – but now that you put that thought into my head…. hmmm..

    OOps forgot to mention that I was bummed they wouldn’t let Kenny talk at the end – they wasted so much time with that ole fogey Burt Bacharach that there was no time to hear Kenny.

    What a waste of a time.

    Derdle – I don’t so much mind him as I mind them using time on him that should have been spent on the actual dancers.

    Derder, if Burt was the king of the 70′s, then Barry Manilow had to be his prince. Tink, I agree, I wanted to hear what Kenny had to say. Poor Ashley, the dance gods must be mad at her to have given her P as a partner.

    But you guys… Barry is the prince of the 70′s. My sisters and I are taking my mom to see Barry in Vegas this spring- LOVE BARRY!!! I hope and pray he chooses my mom on stage to sing with him (he does this at all the concerts- and my mom would friggin die). Plus I paid $500 a ticket. Don’t make fun, now. I am older than you kids. And would love some visitors at my cool blog that I have worked on. Granted, it’s not as witty as this place- but I am so proud- and I made the banner and my profile picture which I must admit-didn’t turn out to badly. Stop by and visit the old lady-
