Earlier this week, I was fortunate enough to have a chance to speak with Tom Bergeron for a little one on one before he left to shoot the next edition of that beloved comedy staple, America’s Funniest Home Videos.

Unlike some other recent interviews whose subject matter esacpes me, it was a casual conversation with topics ranging from the Steven Colbert press corps speech, to Ryan Seacrest, to his own start in entertainment as a radio host, not to mention sharing his ideal cast for a season of Dancing With The Stars. I hope you enjoy this candid side of Tom Bergeron which showcases a charm and humor that is otherwise drowned out by the hillarity that is 16 years of children hitting their dad in the sack with a baseball bat.

I’d like to thank Tom again for giving us his time, and also reassure him that his family has been released safe and unharmed as per our agreement.

    and not to seem greedy at all, but you guys should give us a sneak peek of j-unit, sg-dub, and edhill..it’s only fair.

    Before I saw him at the daytime emmys, I was totally indifferent. After the Emmy’s and this interview total fan.

    if i ever get an excuse to put my mug in a post, i’ll consider it. i was really just fishing for some attention, because i’m a total comment-whore.

    btw, i have put it up on my own site in the past, but not even my mom reads it any longer.
