Rosie: Jumped or pushed?

Rosie O’Donnell announced this morning that she won’t be sticking around for a second season of The View. Sure, the official word is that she wanted $10 million for one year and ABC wanted her to sign for three years, and there’s been talk of her getting her own soapbox, er, bully pullpit, umm… make that “show”– but in light of her most recent outrages (like grabbing her crotch and telling Donald Trump to “Eat me,” and her recent decision to stop calling for President Bush’s impeachment)– what do you think?Was Rosie fired?
Is Barbara Walters behind it?
Is Donald trump behind it?
Is the Bush administration behind it?
Is she just so good she deserves a show of her own again?

Any other ideas?

    I like Rosie. However, if she has STOPPED calling for Bush’s impeachment, then yes, that’s an outrage.
    My big problem with this is that I’d hate to think of all the conservative gloating and tabloid smugness.

    It amazes me how much anger she brings out of people. What else amazes me? The irony of some random person shouting out, “Rosie is just a bitter bitch!”
    She’s rich, successful, and has a loving family. I’m curious what people think she has to be bitter about, especially those who may be projecting a little.

    It’s the complete disregard for common sense that astounds me. And the use of the word “bitch”….so gutsy!

    They must know what they’re talking about.

    How can anyone doubt that?

    How can anyone not sense the sarcasm dripping from my comments…?

    I could care less, but I may watch my ‘riding the bus with my sister’ DVD and laugh my ass off for 2 hours. Best. Comedy. Ever. Best performance by Rosie too.

    I really could care less why she’s leaving just as long as she leaves! She has a big mouth and needs to just concentrate on her own business!

    I used to enjoy Rosie as well as her movies. However, she has become so unbearable that although I had somewhat looked forward to her addition to the view….after attempting to watch a few times, I could never get past the first several sentences out of her mouth. She is overbearing, absolutely sickening, no longer funny, and just plain hateful!
    Good riddance. Too bad Ellen isn’t available….
