You may have noticed that we haven’t had a Desperate Housewives recap in a few weeks. That’s because our intrepid writer, EdHill, threatened to shoot twelve nails into his head if he had to cover one more silly event on Wisteria Lane. Well, we like EdHill a lot and only let him plunge two nails into his cranium before we said it was okay to drop Housewives. The good news: he’s on Sopranos duty now. The bad news: we still need somebody to cover Desperate Housewives. Plus, in an effort to explore the wonderful world of daytime TV, we’re also looking for Passions fans. No, not because we love to say PASSION! It’s because we want somebody to cover the Passions beat for us. Ideally, it would be someone who could write a daily recap, but since that is super demanding, we’re also open to a weekly summary. So if you’re a Desperate Housewives or Passions fan and want to take a stab at TVgasm, write a sample and send it to me at bside@tvgasm.com. Try to avoid simple plot description. If we like you, we’ll let you know.

    Just drop Housewives. Don’t even recap it. it’s so awful, stupid, gross, not funny, and those women are beyond hideous to watch. How does a clip show of this piece of dreck win the night?! Don’t cover it – you’re just adding to the pollution.

    doesn’t there have to be a new episode of DH before we send you a sample? It was a recap this week.

    Forget about those lame housewives.

    I’m a huge Passions fan, its my guilty pleasure, but not sure if I can recap it daily.

    Well, I do watch DH but I am not a writer. I can’t imagine coming up with anything as good as the recaps on here.

    B-Side said he is looking for someone to do a weekly sumary/ recap of Passions, not daily. If you write these recaps, I will be watching and reading. You crack me up. Please consider it…

    Just checked what ‘ol Harry is up to and discovered he’s been dead for 15 years. Guess I haven’t been watching 60 Minutes much lately.

    The best thing you have ever done for me is decide to recap Passions. It is by far the best soap opera on television these days. Though, truth be told, there has been a significant lack of houses being sucked into hell lately and the blind priest hasn’t been around in ages.. I really miss Father Lonagan..

    KH- if you give it a shot, I will too. I must wait until this week’s new episode of DH before I try and I agree that I don’t think I can do it as well as the ‘Gasm recappers do it.
