DHALN8.06Coming to ABC next fall:  Vanessa Williams in “Renee!”  A spinoff of possibly adequate proportions.

It’s Halloween time on Wisteria Lane, which means that anything can happen.  But more specifically, something happens.  And other things too.

Bree is still in a tizzy about Ben’s new development building over Alejandro’s grave, and when her first few schemes don’t go as planned, she devises another one — Hey!  How about going down to the creepy woods on Halloween, digging up that dead body, and moving it somewhere else!  What could go wrong with that?  Nothing.  The plan goes off without a hitch and they just drop the Alejandro plot for the rest of the season.  Wait, you say, is that really how it goes down?!  Read my recap to find out!

Or just read this sentence:  That’s not how it really how it goes down.

Lynette is threatened by Jane (Tom’s new girlfriend) and says that she’s totally going to sew Penny’s costume since Jane was going to do that.  But Lynette doesn’t really have the time and skills to do that — since she’s not taking her kids A.D.D. meds any more — so she agrees to have Renee’s friend from New York make one for her.  The costume ends up being slutty, but Jane saves the day . . . before ruining it.  Find out why in the recap!

Or just read this sentence:  Jane won’t stop dating Tom.

Susan is Andre’s new intern, which turns out to be a babysitting job for Andre’s son Jasper.  As you’re probably imagining, Susan tries to get Andre to pay more attention to his kid.

And Gabby basically follows Bree around and tells Carlos not to drink, which doesn’t work since Carlos has now spent two episodes drinking and is a big ole alcoholic now.

Oh, and Renee has a date with Ben that doesn’t go well.  Why?  Read the recap, silly!

Or just read this sentence:  She takes some Chinese horny potion and has an allergic reaction to it.

Why can’t Carlos be a hilarious drunk, like Bree? I loved it when she was locked in the department store over night and when she passed out on the lawn and Andrew turned the sprinklers on her. Good times . . .

“Susan tries to get Andre to pay more attention to his kid.” Meanwhile, MJ is wondering when Mommy is going to finally remember she left him out side of the grocery store and come pick him up.

Also, I totally agree with Bree being a fun drunk. Sipping wine after her AA meetings because she deserved a reward for making it through, was just awesome.

Does this mean that Bree is going become the sponsor for yet another alkie on the Lane?

PlathAddict: This could mean more bonding between Andrew and Carlos?

Oh and how ridiculously tiny did they make Vanessa Williams look like on that picture? And does that picture mean that she is the blackmailer and the solution to all of that will be her saying “Ah, you guys! Can’t you take a joke?”

Mila, while I am always down for Carlos and Andrew bonding, I would much rather see Mike and Carlos just get it over with. They are way too hot not be having sex with each other a regular basis. I can see it now, Mike forges a closer friendship with Carlos using his past drug addiction and Carlos’ alcoholism. One thing leads to another, and the season gets to literally end with a bang.
