I know, I know — after weeks of creative minicaps, I give you this plain ole boring piece of crap.  I’m sorry!  I’m tired, I just started a new job, and quite frankly, this season has been a buzzkill as of late.  But I am still here for you!

Paul has to go to the hospital, where he learns that it’s not cool to consume antifreeze.  So, he kind of gets pissed off at Susan for feeding him crap.  Crap that also contains antifreeze.

Bree decides to give Detective Chuck a chance and go out with him, but for some reason good ole 3 Lines Renee thinks Bree needs to do a background check on him beforehand, which leads to a disastrous date and Bree and Chuck giving advice to a prostitute.  Yeah.  I know.

Gabby lets Juanita watch a generic scary movie, which backfires when Juanita gets too scared to sleep at night.  Since Carlos apparently doesn’t give a rat’s ass about raising his children at all, it’s up to Gabby to convince Juanita that there’s nothing to be scared of.  Except there totally might be.  And it’s kind of confusing.

Tom and Lynette have a fight.   I don’t think I need to elaborate.

Only 2 episodes and one more week of this season!  Stay tuned for the recap!

    I always liked Lynette (or at least Felicity Huffman) but they made her just awful and ungrateful last night. I cringed during every scene with her. I hope they have her and Tom separate so her character can get some perspective and hopefully a story line that involves something other than emasculating her husband. FH certainly deserves more.

    Oh Hypnotoad, it’s ok, you don’t have too be creative EVERY week! It’s still hilarious!

    Yeah…what’s this Gabby thing? Is this the set up for next season starting?

    This has been such a weird season…without any real overarching story line, it seems to have gone on FOREVER! And I have no idea what we could be building toward in the finale…apparently they introduced someone just so we could have some drama…

    I will not even dignify T and L by typing their full names…they know what they’ve done and I’ll say no more about it!

    Bring it home, next week, Desperate Housewives, and let’s just pretend this season never happened!

    Oh no… what did T and L do? I’ve gotta watch this episode tonight! Just so I can find out and shake my head knowing their latest stupid thing.

    I think Tom and Lynette need to split. All of the fighting has gotten old and they need to justify putting the audience through this every week. It’s the only logical place to take the characters and at least it’d be interesting and new. Maybe even a little surprising.

    I think they’ll split for awhile, but I don’t think the show will have them divorce…at least I hope they don’t! I want them to split, figure out they love each other like whoa, and come back as the couple we love and not the shrew-harpy and douche-nozzle they’ve become…

    Okay so now my only fear about T and L separating is that now the writers will take Vanessa Williams and have her get together with Tom. It could possibly be good but really unoriginal. Kinda like when Mike would break up with Susan and get together with the single lady on the lane…Edie. Katherine. If Tom started hooking up with his secretary or something like that, now that might be more interesting. I see that whole plot going nowhere fast. Unless the writers knock up Vanessa Williams now that would be GOOD!

    I have a theory about the Mystery Man (and I’m probably 100% right about it), but I’m going to save that for the comments on the main recap! Oh yeah. I’m gonna sit on that one. Oh, the suspense . . . less . . . ness.

    I too want Tom and Lynette to split up already. I mean, I want them to get back together eventually. I kind of need that to happen, actually — if they ended up not together in the end, I would be really upset. But for now, for the love of Cherry, just break them up! Do you really want your audience to vehemently hate two otherwise likable characters, Cherry? Because that’s what we’re doing — hating Lynette and Tom.

    I’m all for more Renee, but they need to make her bitchier. Or they need to introduce a character who is (mostly) a complete bitch (like Edie (mostly) was). Having depth to a character is great, but with no bitchiness on the lane, things are really kind of boring.

    Last night’s episode was written by a first time DH writer and I was all prepared to hate it, but for the most part, I was impressed by her first script — more specifics about that in my main recap, which will be up no later than Wednesday afternoon (or morning if you live on the west coast)!

    I think the man at the end watching Gabby was her dad or stepdad (I can’t remember which one) who abused her as a child??? Maybe this is a setup storyline for next season??? Whatever happened to the whole Grace storyline??? Why haven’t they shown Gabby and Carlos trying to get their real daughter back??? Could the man at the end be there for Juanita???

    I can’t wait for your recap on Wednesday!!! Why do the writers just seem to forget storylines??? So annoying!!!
