Last night’s Emmy’s were not all that great when it comes to fashion. No one was stunningly beautiful! I was shocked today when I heard who were being called “best dressed”. Maybe I’m just getting too old, or “old fashioned”, to see what they’re seeing, but I DO watch Project Runway! The one BIG hit for the night was Sofia Vergara of Modern Family fame. She’s been plastered all over the magazines, internet and TV ever since she made her appearance on the Red Carpet. She’s this generation’s Sophia Loren and she owns it. God I would too!

This gown not only shows everything she has to offer, it moves with her like it doesn’t hurt.

Not even a wedgie! She’s the ONLY actress photographed from the front AND the back. She looks like a Mermaid from this view, doesn’t she?

As for my picks for Best Dressed, there weren’t any this year, but some of the ladies did have some class and dressed with some style…

    Screw it, worst dressed, Gennifer Goodwin. Looks like Granny died before finishing crocheting her dress so they slapped some nude material underneath. RIP Granny. Best Dressed, Sofia Vergara by a mile followed by Kat Dennings. Hiede Klum looked like she was on the prowl for a new boy toy, oh wait, she is. OMG how could I forget Mustard Gate 2012. WHO TOLD Julianne Moore THAT LOOKED GOOD???? I’ve seen prettier colors of baby shit!
    Hayden Panettiere Looked like they just took spools of thread and wrapped it around her until she looked like she was wearing a dress.
    God Bless you chooch for watching and reporting on this shit. I’m going to go put my fav moomoo on and eat some cheesecake!

    It’s nice to see that Heidi has just as much style on the red carpet as she does on this season of Project Runway.

    Speaking of PR, Hayden’s dress reminds me of the horrible dress Christopher made with all of the tulle over it. *shudders*

    Overall, the entire Emmy broadcast was just blah, IMO, including the fashion.

    I never cease to be amazed how many rich people with unlimited funds, seem to lack a full-length mirror and an honest friend.

    Poor Heidi.
    Her face looked so fresh and pretty, but that dress was tragedy. It made her boobs look so floppy and made her waist look non-existent. I’m not a fan of the skirt or the color, but a different bodice would have really saved it. I don’t understand how someone with her money and clout in the fashion world can continue to walk around in such hideous outfits. It makes no sense.

    I am so tired of Sofia’s gorgeous face.
    Everywhere I turnnnn. :(

    i love sophia…i think she’s all kinds of gorgeous…but there is a very slight resemblence to Jack Nicolson’s Joker in her face…

    Y’all can say what you will about Sofia and the joker face; but the Gal can strike a pose! LOved her dress, too.

    Before I even read your comment about the Tim Burton dress Chooch, I thought Beetlejuice!

    I like Julianne Moore. But that dress was too yellow! And I like yellow.

    Heidi’s dress looked like a “trying to pick up a man” dress. It was kinda vulgar for an Emmy show and, while I think she has a good bod and seemed to bounce back from her pregnancy’s immediately, her legs aren’t what they used to be and that dress pointed it out.

    I liked Kat Dennings simple red dress. Classic and appropriate.
