Minicap: Glee

With every yelling fit he has, Mr. Shu is one step closer to completely losing his “I’m-really-a-cool-teacher-honest” persona.  At first I thought they were finally going to allow him some manhood, but it seems he may have over-corrected his “push-over-ness”.  Plus his relationship with Emma is really getting under my skin, especially since he used the words “inner-bridezilla” to describe her in this episode.

It’s Mercedes time to shine and she takes the spotlight by throwing up in a trashcan after 3 dance steps. You go girl!

Ever the slave to stereotypes, Glee goes on to play up the Mike Chang’s Asian-ness with a fierce Tiger Dad meeting with the principal. Mike Chang Sr. makes sure to state every possible Asian stereotype and asks Principal Figgins to perpetuate them.  An A- is and Asian F; does that mean an A- looks like a window next to a sword?

Then Coach Beiste forces the football team to take ballet. Let’s force the arts down people’s throats! Yay arts!

Plus Brittany is running for Senior class president. Her campaign strategy: Booty shorts and girl on girl dance numbers.
