Grimm Minicap: The Bottle Imp

Sgt. Wu finds books and receipts that belong to William. He’s well read and appears to be building something. Wu has his computer and is apparently the IT guy too.

William drags the truck guy into the woods and April tries to follow her dad, but he stops her before she can see anything.

Sgt. Wu finds that William has been researching fall out shelters online. Guns, knives, ammo, storage units, etc. Juliette stops by the station and remembers everyone, except night. Cpt. Renard walks into the room and she doesn’t appear to remember him, but she acts really hinky. Sgt. Wu finds a picture online of a deserted place where it appears that William is building his fortress. But why he does actual work, Nick takes this time to bring Hank to the Grimmobile. Hank is less than impresses. At first.

Nick has a drawing of the Wesen that Mrs. Granger woged into, so they are hitting the books to find what she is.

Cpt. Renard is working in his office and gets a call from Adalind. She’s in hiding but she wants to know who killed her mother. Adalind promises so good fun. Cpt. Renard looks down at his screen and realizes he’s typed “Juliette” like a thousand times on his laptop. (I’ve found myself typing “Kill off Juliette” a time or too.)

Hank finds the Wesen. She was a Drang-zorn. They are nasty and short-tempered. When threatened they take refuge underground. (Sounds a lot like me.) Hank finds an elephant gun with specific ammo… he realizes that it’s the same gun that killed Stark (the man that tried to kill Hank). Nick spills that beans that Monroe was the one that saved Hank’s life.

Rosalee calls Monroe at the apothecary to check in. She asks about Leroy. He explains how he made the potion, and apparently used one wrong spice. On a scale of 1-10, it’s an 11. Monroe decides he should probs check on Leroy.

The truck guy is tied up, but alive in the woods. William and his daughter, April, are in their bunker, but William needs to go out for a bit to gather supplies. He gives April a watch so that she knows when to expect him back.

Sgt. Wu narrowed the bunker location down to 2 sq. miles and PPD are out in force with dogs looking for it. One of the dogs finds the opening to the buried container. From a distance, William is watching the police go into his bunker. They find April. She hugs Nick. He remains untouched. (Gadz, he’s so cold.)

Monroe is at Leroy’s apartment and finds Leroy going batsht crazy. He even has the audacity to use a chain saw to cut a grandfather clock in half. Monroe gets the antidote to him and Leroy returns to normal. Assuming he wakes up.

April is sent away with Child Protective Services. Nick and Hank head to the hospital to see if Mrs. Granger is safe.

William Granger is at his wife’s side, and together they explain that it’s April that’s the murderous beast. She’s woging into her Wesen self years earlier than she should. The parents don’t know how to protect her and keep others safe.

It's never too soon. It's never too far. And it's never the wrong time.

Love me some Monroe and Rosalee. Interesting twist to have the child be the dangerous one. I sure wish that the actor who portrays Nick was a little better, though…

agreed about nick… but he is so friggin pretty… i’m worried that the monrosalee storyline is getting too kitschy. they do better with a strong plot… the phone calls and bug eyes just don’t do it for me. i’m glad adalind is back. def need stronger chicks.
